I don't know if this is true for all the NFL or just the Seahawks. But the way it has been is Wyman and Bob interview John leading up to the draft, and Brock and Salk interview the coach during the season

Getting over the hump isn't an overnight deal. We're gonna need at least 2 good drafts to compete for another championship. This process feels different because Pete's fingerprints aren't it. Hoping for the best for the new staff........its gonna take time to get used to.
Schnieder just calls Gutekunst and they work a draft trade, which could be either up or down . Works for both teams.
I've been looking for Karl Mecklenburg, for 35 years. I dont suppose this year will be the year? So many disappointments at linebacker, other than Bobby. KJ was alright. Freddy..

Not even close. Jamal gave us a good pass rush his first season broke the record for sacks by a DB. Unfortunately he has battled injuries. He was still a great player. Max Unger for jimmy Graham was worse. Not taking anything from jimmy the guy was phenomenal but in our system and his lack of ability to block. Our O line regressed significantly and never recovered.

Na. The line has been trash since the Unger trade because Schneider has neglected it since. On a transactional basis, there is no way Adams and his meaningless sacks over 1 season was better considering what Schneider gave up in the trade and then double down on with the extension after he was injured. It was the worst trade. The end.
Nothing will change as long as Johns scouts are still employed by the Shehawks.

So what does John schneider do with the 16th pick in the draft? Trade it off for a few second round picks, or does he get a QB? Could John get the best pass rusher from UCLA?
Why would he get a QB there really. Get the 5th or 6th best qb in the draft ? Cause drama in the qb room? Waste a chance for the best player in the position ? Let the qb idea go they made their decision for this season
Pick up a qb in late rounds for the practice squad, that's about it. Otherwise, build the lines up first.

Seahawks need a good draft 2024 and 2025. Seahawks are rebuilding not even close to closing the gap on the 49ers.
Arguably already closer than we were last season. Its a matter of how fast they pick it up

These people only ask soft questions. Can you ask John about the 8 years he traded back and drafted a bust? Actually, Schnieder has not one time traded out of the first round and drafted a decent player. John does have a good history in one area though- he's good at drafting a bust and an All-Pro being picked a few players later.
John has had a lot of busts thinking he's smarter then everybody else. John gets played, so to stop that he has to play his own hand that's been delt him no matter what.
