  • After going through most of the interchangeable lens camera systems that were available going back to the Sony RX10 MK IV, which I’ve had about 2 1/2 years ago after looking at my favorite pictures and realizing the very little difference between the quality of the shots that I personally take and how much happier I was with that camera at the time. It’s like realizing that old girlfriend was really the best girlfriend!

Enjoyed your practical analysis. I have just purchased the Sony RX 10 Mark IV, also on eBay.
One question. do you shoot RAW or JPEG (specifically, with reference to the photographs you have on display)?

Most of what I shoot is in raw, but I do shoot JPEG when I want to use the effects available in the camera but also if the lighting is something I really don’t want to fool around with or edit later on. as an example this week, I shot about 5000 captures in raw and it took me roughly about five hours to edit out the ones I wanted to edit !
