Joe - Great presentation, as usual! But your destruction habit - what can I say? Except, you're gonna need that 3rd calculator for really, really hard math.
I am glad I got the 12v DeWalt, powerful and feels good on hand. The Milwaukee one is just, feel so awkward on hand just like the designer never gives a shift on how you using it
When Joe said "keep my brand's name out your f@€king mouth" then slap the Flex tool, I was dying laughing! a reference to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscar's!
the new kobalt oscillating tool took me by surprise. I think they took the avt system to the next level. I own 3 (Red one and the Black one) at the moment and I think Kobalt is the best one in terms of control.
Patience. Patience. Now that dewalt has figured out the proper way to make BRUSHLESS 12v tools, all you need to do is stock up on the 5ah batteries and be patient. They are coming, and they're mind blowing.
What u mean? Lock on fearure? The button that lock the switch on? Just today i bought the 20v version . Its really so slow compare to Milwaukee and 12 volt ?
I have two debt stops I try them once ended up taking it off, you should try the craftsman brushless oscillating tool cuts just like the 12v and its only a 1/4 inch bigger vibration is about the same its variable speed and feels great in hand gun to my head it would be tough but I'd go with the dewalt
have you used the newer but old 20v oscillating tool with the 3 speed selector switch? Just wondering if there was any difference in the 2 in your opinion.
One thing milwaukee does offer is a dust extractor for their multi tools. I use it whenever I cut drywall indoors. Works good, works well. Not amazing or great, but damn good enough to put it on and hook up the vac.
Starlock rules purchase a Fein and you will see how easy it is to change blades the rest of them are just imitations. I purchased the Milwaukee 12 volt that damn speed control never stays where you put it I've never used the DeWalt I probably will try one on the 12 volt line seeing I have some of their tools.
I'm 140lbs± if I can grasp an M18 Fuel Oscillator then you can handle an M12. I admit the dewally has better blade change, and the Milwaukee blades suck. But a trigger based oscillator is a bit dumb.
Couldn't agreed with your assessment more. Dead on about everything. I own.....ugh, let's just say every multi tool. Until I grabbed the 12v Dewalt last week, I reached for the 20v dewalt most if, IF I knew i'd be making blade changes, otherwise it was the M12 every time. They're both going to see a lot A LOT more bench time with the 12v dewalt being damn near perfect. The M18? Well, if you insist staying only on the M18 platform, and don't mind using two hands for a multi tool that is so awkward to put down anywher when done, be my guest. *i've yet to seriously test the new Makita sub compact, but we all know about the first brick they made. Quite possible the worst multi tool ever made.
Starlock blades last much longer than the regular blade and they perform so much better I just purchased a diamond blade and it worked incredibly well expensive yes worth it yes got the job done in no time. 👍
Geezus,I am going to totally reject this review. Nope. God help me I don't need to start another battery platform. I just got my shelves the way I like em. Can't do it. Your killing me. Stop telling me there is another good platform 💸💸💸💸💸
Glad I’ve started investing in Dewalt’s 12v system, sure enjoyed the one’s I’ve got. The 5amp makes a big difference.
Thanks Joe, looks like I need to put the DeWalt 12v on my list! Love the Will Smith reference 🤣😂🤣
The milwaukee comes with a depth stop btw. At least here in the UK it does
That intro was worth a subscribe.
The quick change is the best feature of the Dewalts
Agreed.
It's enough of a feature to make me get rid of my makita. That thing sucks
Joe - Great presentation, as usual! But your destruction habit - what can I say? Except, you're gonna need that 3rd calculator for really, really hard math.
Yep 🧮
Milwaukee's depth stop for the fuel m12/m18 is part# 49-90-2430, it's been out for a year or so.
I am glad I got the 12v DeWalt, powerful and feels good on hand. The Milwaukee one is just, feel so awkward on hand just like the designer never gives a shift on how you using it
I love how you tko the other tools in the beginning
Always!

The only downside is that Dewalt doesn't have enough 12v tools. Milwaukee has thousands. I have Milwaukee and Dewalt. But I'm sticking with Milwaukee
They’re pushing a ton of new stuff lately. They’re becoming a notable challenger for the 12v crown
Patience. Patience. Now that dewalt has figured out the proper way to make BRUSHLESS 12v tools, all you need to do is stock up on the 5ah batteries and be patient. They are coming, and they're mind blowing.
I’m impressed. 12v looks good.
I was impressed as well.
It’s so Itsy bitsy. DeWalt has this oscillating tool thing on lock.
I have the milwaukee depth gauge for my m12 fuel
That exists? Whoa 🤯
They should include the depth guide in the box. It's the coolest feature of their oscillating tools and it's nigh impossible to buy.
I’ve still yet to see one in person
I have both an the Milwaukee by far I can go all day using
To get the most out of the 20v version you need to learn to use the lock-on feature. It turns it into a different tool
I’ll look it up
What u mean? Lock on fearure? The button that lock the switch on? Just today i bought the 20v version . Its really so slow compare to Milwaukee and 12 volt ?
This video sounds like I'm watching a drone video.
Angry bees 🐝
My old boss had the M12 and the batteries would never hold up.
Joe I love ya but damn these test...........are hilarious and entertaining 🤣 👍
Thanks!
Gotta do a better job of splicing the split screen videos so that the cutting starts at the same time
I have two debt stops I try them once ended up taking it off, you should try the craftsman brushless oscillating tool cuts just like the 12v and its only a 1/4 inch bigger vibration is about the same its variable speed and feels great in hand gun to my head it would be tough but I'd go with the dewalt
have you used the newer but old 20v oscillating tool with the 3 speed selector switch? Just wondering if there was any difference in the 2 in your opinion.
Yes and there’s no difference besides the switch
Where can I get the 12v? Is it at lowes yet?
Not quite yet, I got this one through an acme preorder
Check out the skil 12v if you want a 12v one that’s really nice
Ive got one, wanted to showcase it against the big dog first.
One thing milwaukee does offer is a dust extractor for their multi tools. I use it whenever I cut drywall indoors. Works good, works well. Not amazing or great, but damn good enough to put it on and hook up the vac.
I’ll stick with my m12 Milwaukee fuel
I still got mine, it won’t be the first I reach for though
Agreed Joe, DeWalt wins this hands down. I bought the M12 and absolutely hate it 😎🛠️😎🛠️😎
Ted, get the DeWalt. You’ll love it. The quick change is like butter.
@@paedahe4975 I would, but I already have 5 oscillating tools, 2 of them DeWalt's😎🛠️😎🛠️😎
@@tedmcdonald3377 oh. lol. Yeah. 5 is quite a few.
You need one for each finger!
Word is we all has 6 fingers many years ago lol
its ok but its def not a fuel!
The 12v has a safety issue when changing the blade.
What kind of issue? Could you elaborate?
Starlock rules purchase a Fein and you will see how easy it is to change blades the rest of them are just imitations. I purchased the Milwaukee 12 volt that damn speed control never stays where you put it I've never used the DeWalt I probably will try one on the 12 volt line seeing I have some of their tools.
I would love to down the line. They’re crazy expensive tho
The milwaukee is like holding a piece of pipe....i have a skil its kinda similar
Yeah, super weird on the ergo side
Sweet video!
Thanks!
how did you get that already?!
🤷♂️
Diablo does make starlock compatible blades they popped up on Amazon when I was looking for regular blades.
Yep, but they too are expensive
@@Joethetoolguy I agree. The Milwaukee blades are to expensive also for all the longer they last.
So I have the crappy big brother.
A lot of us have the 20v DeWalt. It’s no slouch fam.
It’s not bad, i still like it. I’m wondering if my motor was overused and if that was why it underperformed.
I'm 140lbs± if I can grasp an M18 Fuel Oscillator then you can handle an M12. I admit the dewally has better blade change, and the Milwaukee blades suck. But a trigger based oscillator is a bit dumb.
Once you try the trigger you won't go back to the switch
Couldn't agreed with your assessment more. Dead on about everything. I own.....ugh, let's just say every multi tool. Until I grabbed the 12v Dewalt last week, I reached for the 20v dewalt most if, IF I knew i'd be making blade changes, otherwise it was the M12 every time. 8:21 is why you came here
I thought they came here for the machetilating tool
I dont like the starlocks, overpriced
Starlock blades last much longer than the regular blade and they perform so much better I just purchased a diamond blade and it worked incredibly well expensive yes worth it yes got the job done in no time. 👍
I agree after owning a few. I don’t see much of a reason to have them. Kind of like xlock but without the convenience
🔥😎🔥
🔥
👍
👍
Milwaukee!
Tools!
Now, I ONLY have question, are you going to return the Flex Tools back??? Ha ha ha!!!
Lol nah. Gotta torture them…
Lol...thanks joe

Yep 👍

Winner, Winner...
You need to let Project Farm do the scientific comparisons. Yours has too much human error factor.
Geezus,I am going to totally reject this review. Nope.

Lol, yeah the dewalt 12Volts have turned the corner
