When I was in the hospital, some of those same foods were so comforting! Grilled cheese, pancakes with syrup, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese. You’re never to old for these things 😊
Chicken and dumplings are the bomb. No bacon or ham in dumplings.

Never have i ever seen such a brown biscuit at CB! My mom and I would get kids meals there when we were going to the mall, it was a good $ deal and we weren't too full while shopping. Chicken tenders & mac~n~cheese every time for me. This review made my heart happy, thanks guys

I’ve never had the regular dumplings because I’m not a kid but if you order them on the adult menu it has chicken in it and it’s so good!

Dumplings are a thing in the South and it usually has shredded chicken in it.. my grandma also used to make some dumplings to put leftover roast and gravy. It was one of her and my grandpas favorite foods. I bet a lot of those items would have been even better piping hot. I like French fries with my grilled cheese! Great video 😁
The regular dumplings at Cracker Barrel does have shredded chicken in it. I guess they just leave it out for the kids.
The fact they put that burnt biscuit on the plate is shameful. They should’ve dumped them and started over. No kid or adult wants a burnt biscuit. Anddddd they forgot the syrup! Cracker Barrel has the best syrup!

I love love LOVE their pickle ranch and I'm not a ranch person at all. I like it on salads too. Yum. The chicken and dumplins are so good and I get the kid's meal shrimp all the time.
I love the pancakes from Cracker Barrel and the cheesy potatoes. They do make their fried eggs over easy really good too. These meals look like great kids meals. Overall great kids menu from Cracker Barrel. Funny Kristin gave the shrimp a 1 with the sauce. Great video. Thanks for posting.

She kept touching her hair then proceeded to touch so much of the food. Also, you have to eat the dumplings in restaurant. They change once theyve been sitting a while

I've had kids meal shrimp before it was good. I like some of the sides turnip greens, fried okra, steak fries I haven't tried to much I tried meatloaf and side salad which was nice size
Jamil, you need to remember that you're serving KIDS with this menu. Kids' palates are not as advanced or sophisticated as an adult's. You enjoy a high fat, high salt, high sugar content in most items, but imagine if you STARTED at that level as a child--no bueno by the time you hit adulthood. It's for KIDS. Nice job, Cracker Barrel.

They should’ve called those pancakes fruity pebble pancakes, not fun Fetty because I assumed they were just colorful sprinkles inside the pancakes.

Yes you can use other meats but y’all need some good old southern food. I mean down south I boil my chicken with onion and whole smashed garlic. After boiled I skim the froth or fat off. Take all veggies out through away bring back to boil add salt garlic accent and white and black. You can make your own Dumplings or use can biscuits roll out flat and cut into scrips. Drop in dumplings while boiled once the float you good. Make sure you flour you biscuits while rolling. Try it they are good. From North Carolina ❤😊
We do shredded chicken in the dumplings in the south, no other meat jamil 😂 but crackers barrels dumplings I always add pepper. Y'all definitely needed cracker barrels syrup with the pancakes.

I’m all about the kid’s menu! Often enough food and affordable. Y’all, I’d recommend messaging them abt that biscuit sandwich. I actually had a meal that was really not good for a few reasons. While I thanked them for trying 😂 cause they seem short staffed, I asl messaged them cause is was t made with love. Ha. They sent me a gift card.

I'm not super familiar with dumplings either, but bacon is amazing with pierogis, so maybe it would work? And maybe some scallions or something fresh with a crunch to offset the gumminess?
No, pierogis and dumplings are too different things. Do not mess up a perfectly amazing thing with bacon.

kristin idk if you notice it but everytime I watch you, you act babyish with the food? Why is this? Its like you are afraid to bite things, you are afraid to cut things, you are afraid to open packages, etc. I do remember you said you are afraid to go down the stairs without holding the rail. I think that is part of your identity. Like fear of small/normal things for your age. I am wondering if your mom instilled this fear in you or if you gained it from age. I never seen anything like it before.
I said this same thing before 😂...I concluded that she must be afraid to chip a tooth or something. She bites so much slower than he does.
I think she’s just trying to not get food all over her mouth or face. Maybe she has a small mouth? She’s always been like that, but it doesn’t bother me! Maybe it’s just a self-conscious thing.
