It is not like it is that hard as there are many language schools in Korea that pay decent salaries which also provide an apartment and flight reimbursement. This is just like with Mohamed and Danielle: she wasn’t totally honest about her finances because she was afraid that if he knew the truth he wouldn’t come to America to be with her. This is the exact same issue but with locations and genders reversed. These people really need to stop hiding such important details. If they really loved the other person they would be honest about the situation so the other person wouldn’t travel across the world, leave their families/friends/jobs/homes/familiarities/lives they’ve built to come to an unfamiliar place just to be destitute and essentially “stuck” once they get there. As many have said before: if they don’t want to be with you upon realizing you’re not as well off as initially thought, then they’re with you for the wrong reasons and you probably shouldn’t be with them anyway. If they truly love you then they’ll find a way to make it work but you have to give them the option to make that decision by being honest upfront. If they love you regardless and want to be with you then they’ll likely work WITH you to improve the COLLECTIVE financial situation; since y’all are in this together and all. But you have to be honest FIRST.

Jihoon is a korean man with korean values, and a well disciplined child who is polite to strangers is a sign of good parenting.
