It's not bad compared to real hoods in real cities. Worcester looks more like a group of suburbs, one sky scraper and no skyline. Plus the downtown is dead. The gang that controls the area that Clark is in is big (considering it's a neighborhood gang) at around 500-700 current members, but its mostly kids beating up other kids from the other Worcester gangs. The shootings are rare and almost always on target. Clarkies may get scared easily but the neighborhood has a lot of multiple family homes of decent hard working folks. The nearest project is lakeside and there is a considerable buffer between them.
Can't wait to go to a baseball game again in Worcester. I stopped going to Braveheart games 3 years ago after I heard Bravehearts owner John Creedon treats his employees like dirt, stiffing them out of pay too. Especially the minorities.

Lots of clean up lots of construction I pass through there at times slowly looking better. But as far as Boston the restaurants are still one step ahead but Worcester will incorporate things over time.
