We DO NOT need a big house or fancy cars. We are perfectly happy with a small boat, fresh fish, and time on the water.

60 yr old guy from the U.P. in Michigan. Was thinking about doing a live aboard in Florida. Winters getting colder up here!!! Ready to trade snowmobile for a paddle board with a little warmer water! Watched last couple years of your show and was amazed you made it to my neck of the woods! Glad the wolves didn’t find you in the woods, been seeing them more and more. There are quite a few from “Salt” Ste. Marie lol and south. I plan on watching more. Sierra looks and speaks exactly like my daughter!! I even sent them a link. Her and her husband were travelers all over the US living off grid in a van for 7 years. They were buskers out of Winona, Mn. Anyways, thanks for your show, love it!!

One other thing...Corsair should pay you guys a boatload of money. I never heard of them until you introduced me, and you two made me and lots of others really love that boat. If some marketing person at Corsair called you guys last year and made a great deal with you, that person should get a fat raise. It is brilliant to have you two promote anything, especially a cool little boat like that one.
A lot of companies go out of their way to find actors/models and try to get them to look wholesome, authentic/sincere, upbeat, etc. You're right: Billy and Sierra are the ideal 'brand ambassadors' since they are are all these things--naturally. I certainly hope they don't get jaded and veer from the values that took took them here.
You had my laughing at the (3 second video) thumbnail - "This is what success looks like" - then a head-to-toe pan of shirtless Billy. :) Seriously, great vid series. Excited to see what you guys have up next!

Great series. Showed what someone can do in a smaller boat. Good assessment on Florida's West Coast. I like to say the Florida West Coast is where a normal person can have a little water. There are several communities with sailboat canals that have no locks or bridges to the Gulf.
You guys have come along way since you left Neverland with us in Newport and we watched you both head out for Long Island in the whaler. Three Cheers for Billy and Sierra!!!!!!

Made that trip when I was a captain on a 48 ocean yacht back in the late 80's enjoyed every minute that I did stuff like that for 10 years all over the east coast and all threw the Bahamas it was nice when your young like you guy's are, enjoy ever minute you can because you will look back at this and see people like you many years from now and know just how fun and exciting it is to be free of modern day life. what a Dream Life , but you Passion and Excitement made me Happy
We had a bike tube on our hand line when fishing with about 1.8 m of slack line so when the tube is near max stretch it will pick up the line again. We also didn’t bother winding it back on the reel when u have a fish or sea weed. Just wear some gloves and walk it to the front cleet then back to the rear cleet and repeat that way u pull the fish in quick with no effort and line tangle. Line when u use spinners. Hope u guys get to go sailing more

Too fun. Thank you. May I say, if you’re going to do this loop. When you’re on the West Coast do you not go up in further than Tarpon Springs. The grass flats or shallow and then no Siems are plentiful. But there is a wonderful town called Dunedin that is a must stop without a child. It has it all. Amazing laid-back every night kind seen. Indeed it is very very nice. It has two amazing Anchorage areas with a city dinghy dock area that is free. It is perfect. Absolutely perfect. At the moment you step off the dinghy dock you’re in the middle of everything that is happening.
I totally Enjoyed this trip, I have to say, when Sierra said there was a snake in the boat, I would’ve exited, lady overboard!!!

Our friend built his catamaran in the Philippines then sailed it from Philippines to Port Charlotte. Not sure of the lenght but it was very impressive. He's done all kinds of crazy survival things when was in the gov. Now he gives tours in port charlotte on it, well was doing that last we knew of & need to hook up with him. Were moving back to Punta Gorda Fl. this year for good, so will let u know more about his boat.👍

Nice sailing. Fresh fish simply prepared. Yum! If you wrap the line around the other way you can use the winch to haul in your catch.
No - see 'm netting and fans a must. We just made a screen door with magnetic opening for our Catamaran. Game changer and only cost us $25.

Best part of this series I really like watching the racing; I’ve been clear lake Iowa this weekend there are 140 boats called mc-scow which is a nationals for that boat but it’s pretty fun to go watch it I wish people would do more content on the sailboat racing but thank you guys for sharing the Florida loop. Great series of videos on something I‘ve always wanted to do. It’s amazing you didn’t get much bottom fouling after two months and no bottom paint. What’s your secret on keeping the bottom so clean?? Keep the videos coming as they are a joy to watch!

How many turns of fishing line did you have to put on the winch so that it would get enough friction to click/turn? That's a clever idea for people who don't have fishing poles.
