Bro i have been running exhaust ignite and i feel it its easier for me to roam or even sometimes win lane considering that u can exhaust and slow people in death lotus for example.Not the best option but I am playing around high platinum with it and I have been really having a sucess with it.
Yeah i do the same thing, i just use exhaust ignite and works perfect in lane and after laning phase, just be careful and thats it
The thing is, this is high risk high pay, because if you get knocked down on the lane fase you will solo lose the game, because you don't have the Flash + E to get a improbable reset who turn the fight to your favor, or simply scape from ganks and towers because you don't have a Flash, but against meelee champions on lane this sounds good

If you re talking about demolish its probably the worst rune you can use. Kat is roaming champ not split pusher/side laner. You have to roam and force plays around the map to get ahead and snowball
As a OTP kat main for years, i came back after a 2 year break and kat just doesnt feel the same. Maybe its tok much dashes and shields and cc in the game now from items and new champs. She feels weak af. But i picked up leblanc now and am stomping every game. With leb u can one shot, and play defensive and peel. Its great.

How do you choose if conqueror or electrocute and riftmaker ou protobelt ty by advance
You take conqueror if there is 3+ tanky ennemies,
You go electrocute when there is 3+ squishy ennemies
You always take protobelt as mythic when you play electrocute, and you can take protobelt with conqueror if you snowball really hard, else rift maker is better
Hey Jack, I wanna understand better the items in this game.
You said you didn't need Riftmaker this game because their champs are all squishies. But Rocket Belt gives magic pen and Riftmaker gives AP and Omnivamp. Wouldn't it be better to build Riftmaker to get more AP since they don't have tanks?
I think I get it now. Riftmaker needs time in TF to stack and since their team doesn't have tanks you would kill them before stacking the AP.

Rift gives you sustain and ap, and true dmg after a while, Which is all you need against tank, and ofc it is good against squishies too, but, rocket gives you flat magic pen. Flat magic pen again Squishies champs means almost having true dmg. Imagine having full build with rocket. It means having 44mp(with Boots). Unless they built mr, and you'd build void staff in this case, most of Squishies champs won't go over at most 70mr. 70-44= 26mr. If you take red path too, you can take 6mp while shunpoing. So 50mp. That means even less mr for enemies. As a Katarina needs to burst, against squishies, this is way too powerfull.
@@jvzaniolo i want to add, again, that what gives Kata the most DMG, passive and r, has a huge amount of AP scaling, that means being able to abuse a great amount of mp as long as it is given by only a passive item

And isn't only that, that @gigachad said, the belt activation dash you forward given damage and gives you a lot of move espeed, and that's amazing for Katarina
I am fairly sure that the kat-vex matchup is not that hard at all, at least compared to the other matchups...
just juke and keep harassing with Q (TO NEAREST MINIONS TO AVOID AGRO) and keep wave freezed
the later state to the game is what makes vex unplayable to play against
It is hard. What define Vex-Katarina match up isn't the capacity to trade. But both champs are huge roamers. You'll be perma pushed against a vex pretty fast and will have a hard time following her while she destroy other lanes. Here Katevolved managed to kill them all in a revenge move, that's what closed the game for him.
Could Predator Katarina be good? For roaming.
Good idea, but then they would know you were coming and back off also you would lose lane super hard

Im giving up on katarina after 8 years... before gunblade got removed, I would fluctuate between diamond and masters on eu every season and was able to carry 90% of my games solo. Now I can barely reach diamond and katarina relies too much on early jungle ganks and lucky roams.. I cant 1v9 my way up anymore. I believe my mechanics are there and I got videos to support it, but nothing I do works.
Might join blade and play bruisers for consistency xd
@Dramox kat is absolutely fine if you are otp, champion hasn't changed at all. Idk what are u talking about but you were either not good on kat or not good enough at league to make plays around the map and get ahead
@@gastly1007 There is a reason I said I could solo carry games back then. The times have definitely changed now, not so much for kat, but the state of the game and all other champions have shifted. Kat is not capable of have the same solo impact and get ahead anymore, everything relies playing around your *jungler* and finding plays botside
@@Dramox. kata doesnt 'rely on any jungler' or any jungle gank unless unless you are on very difficult matchups and especially against good players which is almost impossible to find in elos lower than at least Master. You don't need any skirmish to be played around you, you have to punish mistakes and force skirmishes that you know you can win by using ur buttons correctly and having correct setups (items,runes etc.)

There isn't really anything you can tell me that has anything to do with katarina that I dont know already. I know where Kat belongs and her capabilities in certain elos. Kat doesn't get played in higher elos because people know how she works and opponents dont make "mistakes" that kat can take advantage of. Jack even confirmed my issue on stream yesterday and said, "she is basically unplayable in challenger because of the risk and there is a reason why I can never beat bjergsen in lane as katarina no matter the champ he picks"
