Today we will look at how a basic Video Tap works. Video Tap can pull viral clips from videos and create articles from them. It can make summaries, recaps, blog posts, transcripts, and even subtitles. This is its main website, and it has received many reviews. We will see if these reviews are true or not by testing it ourselves.
First, let's get started by clicking on “Get 3 Free.” We need to enter a name for verification. After verifying, it asks what we want to use it for. We will select everything to test all features. It also asks about connecting your channel, but we will skip that for now.
Next, it asks if we would like to add a video. Instead of playing a video, I will copy a direct link from CZcams and paste it here. Now the video is ready to process. If you want premium features like AI-generated social media clips or videos longer than 25 minutes, you need to upgrade.
We will first try the free version. When I opened it for the first time, it showed some issues, probably due to bugs on their site. If you want the video in landscape mode, it's ready. For vertical mode, go to “Edit” and select the background option.
There are some boxes to pick from. After editing, you can change the timeline of your video. You can also take screenshots or pause to read more details.
So far, my experience has been mixed. Sporadically, the output is not great, but it seems to be improving over time. You can try pausing or editing clips again if they don't work initially.
