  • Quest magazine editor Richard Smoley speaks with esoteric author and scholar Ronnie Pontiac about his findings over many years of research. Together, they explore Ronnie’s new book American Metaphysical Religion: Esoteric and Mystical Traditions of the New World, in which he presents an in-depth exploration of four centuries of American occult and spiritual history. Richard and Ronnie discuss many of the topics in the book, including colonial-era alchemists, astrologers, and early spiritual collectives to Edgar Cayce, the Hermetic Brotherhood of Luxor, and St. Germain on Mount Shasta.
