Someone asked if the exhaust on the parts car Porsche944 was for sale. And, of course, it is! This video shows how to remove the complete exhaust system from exhaust manifold to the muffler.

Excellent well made video, very helpful and clear instructions. Thank you Hombre,
thank you for this video
Can you show how the muffler heatshield is attached? Mine rotted off and I'm looking to replace it. I see there are some clips required in the diagrams online but the diagrams don't show any other fasteners of any kind so I'm not really sure how that works.
Unfortunately I can't. I've sold all my Porsches and just have a few parts left in storage.
@@BasinMotorsports thanks for the prompt reply regardless!
I’m going to be removing my exhaust today, I’ve got a 86’ turbo though, I can see if I can figure it out while I’m under there and comment again how it’s attached
@@frederickmacneil6318 that would be great!
@@unL33T it looks like it’s held on by 4 bolts. Two of them connect to a metal strap that runs under the body of the car and the other two connect to the same mounting points as the two muffler hangers. I didn’t see any clips of any kind when I was under there so this might be different on a 85.5 or a turbo
Dude , where did you find thats rats nest car?
It was sitting in a cow field for the last 20 years when I picked it up.
