- Tommy got his hands on the dream plane for many years. Here are som clips from the maiden flight. The last take off was not filmed great. I stumbled when i was turning around but more videos will come with this beautiful biplane.

In my loft I have a semi-completed balsa and ply Christen Eagle I was given, it's about same scale I would say. An old kit by 'Pilot' if I remember correctly, Japanese? Never going to complete it :-)

Plane is absolutely gorgeous. Am I the only one that thinks this particular motor sounds like a glorified leaf blower!?
Pitts mufflers allways give that extra roar...
It is a simple 2 stroke engine, just like the leaf blower.

I have the same plane with a DL50. Flies wonderfully. It's a handful when in the air, demanding complete concentration. It turns/loops on a dime, but you have to think one step ahead of the plane at all times. It's excellent practice, once you've flown this, every other model is easy. Too bad Great Planes doesn't make them any more

Anyone finding these hard to fly must have them set up pretty badly. Get it sorted with correct c of g and it will fly like a trainer!

Beautiful plane👍…is she tough to land? Just know from the fixed wing guys those planes like Pitts, Christen Eagle are critical to land.

Nope. It is estetics only. But you can buy wire at a hobby shop or hard ware shop
Hey ,I have another question . How did you mount the 50cc to the eagle ?? I'm trying to figure out how to place my throttle servo . I'm putting a eme 60cc I'm mine.
