Today an old friend came to see me at the hospital. He gave his pregnant girlfriend sleeping pills, and he wanted me to put her in a coma. She’s pregnant, but she wanted an abortion… he wants her to keep the child… So he wants her to remain in a coma until she can’t have one anymore…. He offered me so much money that I could retire next year! How could I say no?

It’s her choice. Forcing her to keep the baby is a HORRIBLE way to do things. The father does get a say in it, but their opinion on what to do should be EQUAL. Not only the mother nor father gets to decide.

How long did it take for her to realize she didn't love that rich prick? Should've taken birth control pills b4 too. And wow a wealthy man and a doctor as conspirators. He was wrong to do those things to her. It's her body so she has a right to say. But morally speaking in this case she should've let him have the baby and just left if he really wanted to be a dad. She shouldn't have wanted an abortion just bc she didn't love him anymore. However it'd be different if she was concerned about her health. He changed his mind about stopping her all bc she said she didn't love him but still cared about him. How dispicable. But this was kinda terrible

The guy was wrong to put her in to a coma but he was trying to save his child's life. I cannot blame him for that. The girl should have taken precautions before she slept with the guy if she didn't want to get pregnant. I feel sorry for the guy. He took drastic measures because he wanted his child to live. This girl is purely to blame for the whole episode. She should have been more responsible. Nobody has the right to take somebody else's life, even an unborn child's unless for medical reasons and she didn't have any medical issues according to the story. Her excuse was that she didn't love the guy and so didn't want the child , bloody lame excuse.

Don't ruin father character,every father is not the same,and every mother is not the same,there are two sides,that's bad and good,lot of mothers abandon childrens and fathers have to take care of their children,so don't be that much dumb,if she doesn't like the baby so much,she can be pregnant and after the baby born give the baby to his father,by killing inside stomach is not the option,first of all understand the word"PARENTS"that means both mother and father has the rights and love to their children.

Who's gonna pay for that adoption? you? child birth is about a $20,000 dollar medical bill. Abortion (early stage) is about $500. I'm not paying $19,500 extra to do an adoption to follow YOUR religion

Horrible way to do things. HOWEVER it IS the man's child, and a father has a right to say if the child is born...it is NOT the mother's total decision. Father's should have EQUAL say and the mom should respect that.

Abortion is not an ideal solution, if the mother does not wish to raise the child, consideration should be given to involving the father in the child's care.
Why would she sign up for 18 years of child support when an abortion is about 1% of the price? (yes, women can be put on child support, too)
