My aunt has two dogs (a long haired chihuahua..and a pamerainin..she used to have a 3rd,a schipperkey but that one passed away sadly 😢) and three cats ( idk the breeds but two are kittens she just adopted..she used to only have two, both adults but the female adult sadly passed away aswell 😢) and two like to bother my aunts eldest dog (the chihuahua) and she growls so i call the dog a karen 😂

My cat’s favorite thing to do is hide under my bed when he hears me coming and then just attacks my foot as I’m walking past the bed or when I’m about to get onto the bed. Never uses his nails, more just like a grip and a nibble to the ankle.

abc stv I do. 30 minutes to an hour a day. He just prefers to play like that rather than toys. I can’t tell you how many toys I’ve tried and he just doesn’t take much interest. He doesn’t attack me, never has, if that’s what you think he is doing to me.

@@nataliereb4902 yes the cat on the harness one, it was a bit crazy! but that's a good owner. they probably caught their kitty outside on that little pole WITHOUT a harness just chilling out previously. They're letting a cat be a cat, but supervising at least. Cats definitely don't have a fear of heights!

8:30 insanely risky. The cat would slip right from the harness if it lost its footing and suddenly fell. And that would be the end of that kitty. My cat slips out of a harness very easily. Cats don't have shoulders like we do.

The study from vet reports points out the drop stats stuff is only based on the cats that survived initial impact and were found and taken to the vet (an injured cat will most likely mask pain and try to hide where it can't be found, so a lot of hurt cats just can't be taken to the vet in time), and the cats are only good at surviving (IIRC) drops from one to three stories high, lower and higher both have an increase in damage and even fatal internal bleeding. (This is because cats essentially have natural parachutes with all that skin going from their thighs and upper "arms" to the main body, when they do starfish impressions. They create drag and slow down some.) That looked more than three stories high.

Toon Nufc it was snow on the ground and cats can always land on their feet as long as there's enough distance to adjust. It would've been fine. A cat once jumped from a 10 floor building and was fine. And this is all assuming that the person lets go of the harness, which I'm sure they won't do anyway. So if it did slip it would just be back up in a second. Best part is that it won't choke. Unlike dog leashes, v is not around the neck.
Whoever let's their cat out on a building like that either doesn't like animals or is just irresponsible. Talk to a vet about how many cats do and don't survive a fall from a balcony - the odds of surviving unscathed aren't good.
I had a cat who climbed on top of a door and walked back and forth. Cats are amazing at balancing.

@Valerie O'Brien I agree and I don't agree. Not all cats are made for inside living and the cat lets you know that. I've had 2 cats and I had to let one go because he had many of the symptoms you mentioned. Sometimes people forget that they are animals, not dolls.

Edit: Yes, I'm aware that the behavior may indicate a medical issue. Hopefully someone told the owners and they took the cat to the vet.
The owner was vigorously scratching his back down by the base of his tail. My cat does the same thing. The point is, the cat doesn't like it, and the licking is him showing great self control as what he really wants to do is bite (not being vicious, just the usual cat "don't do that" nibble). It's just that natural reactions cats have to having their butt scratched too close to the tail - they either love it or they hate it!

@@nickh5081 That's not really accurate, lots of cats love being scritched there at the base of the tail, and this cat seemed quite happy. Some cats have intense and strange reactions when they are scratched at the base of their tails, it doesn't necessarily signal dislike. They'll often come back for more.
