The father of my grandmother was from Wales and his brother was our uncle Edward Williame(a man with an old fashion curved pipe). I am a Fleming now with 6.25 percent of Welsh in me. They were in the trenches in Flanders Field, fought, survived together with my other Flemish ancestors. My uncle Edward couldn't speak about it, it was to traumatizing. A nightmare, He didn't like it. I wonder where they came from, wich town. We have his war decorations at home. Uncle Edward was a nice, sweet man. Softer than the a Nazi tank officer was came to our house when I was a child. That Nazi tank officer was very tuff to his children. As a child I felt it quickly, I didn't like that Nazi tank officer and his family, I liked my uncle Edward. Another style.

The reality is that if people treat Wales, its people and its culture with respect, we welcome *anyone*. Yes, even the English. It's not the English people in general that we have a problem with. some of this lady’s pronunciations are really strange! there are apps on line that will say the words for you or just ask a Welsh speaking person. eg ‘Coed y Brenin’ means forest (literally ‘trees’) of the king, or ‘the king’s forest’. there is no such word as Coedy! In this instance, the letter ‘y’ sounds like the English letter ‘u’. It is not ‘i’ as in eye. it’s is ‘u’ as in under, or unfair etc.
