Love Wales from Croatia ❤️!
A dislike for that comment. There is nothing to love about Wales,
@@capricorn6014 1:the dislike button does nothing (who does that remind me of)
2 the welsh have good scenery
3 the history
Capricorn I'm pretty mad at you now as a Welshman 11 miles from the capital there is loads to do in Cardiff. Newport. Swansea and see the amazing beaches in the North part.
@@capricorn6014 what did Wales do to you?
❤️ you
The thumbnails on your last two videos don't appear to be working. Sorry I digress. I love Wales, spent many childhood holidays exploring Wales, in the car, with my dad, mum and three brothers. Beautiful country, scenic. Haven't been for a long time. Time for a visit soon.
Im Welsh and it is very beautiful

Hello Ida🌹
Cwm Eigiau in the upper Conwy Valley, with Carnedd Lewellyn in the background, one of the most dramatic valleys in Snowdonia.
Bryn Cader Vaner, the very remote Bronze Age burial cairn in the wilds above Harlech and Talysarn.
Wondering why you have an image of Wollumbin which is about an hour north of Byron Bay , Australia at 0:11 ? Rough Guides is right .
Haha! They got a bit mixed up with New South Wales I reckon!
when looking for stock footage i mean
Erddig should be there x
Hello Morgz🌹❤️
Who else is here from watching in school?

No Gower?

And not forgetting the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales.
The Royal Commission is the investigation body and national archive for the historic environment of Wales. It has the lead role in ensuring that Wales’s archaeological, built and maritime heritage is authoritatively recorded, and seeks to promote the understanding and appreciation of this heritage nationally and internationally.
North Wales is awesome

See, Wales is so unknown it's so beautiful
@Engerland for Engerlish People how come you spelt England wrong?
Engerland for Engerlish People One. Wales is NOT a dump, I have lived there for ten years. Two. Engerland. Are you serious. ENGERLAND? It's England, also, how do you know if Wales is a dump?
Engerland for Engerlish People bog off
Wales is a dump? I live in Wales and it isn't a freaking dump.
@@saratanner3185 race hater Wales don't need people like you in it with your disrespectful comments your parents must be proud
HEHE not me being here for school, if you are here for school GOOD LUCK
Prekratke su scene.
Snowdon is also the highest peak in England AND Wales, not just Wales
Except Snowdon isn't in England. It's equally correct to say that Snowdon is the highest peak in Wales and the Netherlands.
I'm Welsh and it's SNOWDONIA
I could see my bedroom window on number 2

Yeah that is a bruh

Where is gower?!
South Wales
Yes south wales
The father of my grandmother was from Wales and his brother was our uncle Edward Williame(a man with an old fashion curved pipe). I am a Fleming now with 6.25 percent of Welsh in me. They were in the trenches in Flanders Field, fought, survived together with my other Flemish ancestors. My uncle Edward couldn't speak about it, it was to traumatizing. A nightmare, He didn't like it. I wonder where they came from, wich town. We have his war decorations at home. Uncle Edward was a nice, sweet man. Softer than the a Nazi tank officer was came to our house when I was a child. That Nazi tank officer was very tuff to his children. As a child I felt it quickly, I didn't like that Nazi tank officer and his family, I liked my uncle Edward. Another style.
The soft conquered the hard.
Bruno Pinkhof You are Belgian? Perhaps explore Wales to find out about his upbringing or heritage
Where is gower???

Hello Jenni🌹❤️

Yes I'm from Wales and it is Cardiff/Caerdydd.
Most people don't know Wales is the biggest county in England 💯🏴🏴🏴
No were not 🏴
Yo man, why wasn't Llandudno mentioned 😂
It's #22
missing out the gower ,absurd.

Please redo this video with someone who can pronounce the Welsh place names
oh cmon john you need to behave mate
Coedy Brenin! Pronounced wrong by so many that they've changed the spelling to accommodate!
@@annmarie9420 I know! It would be laughable if it wasn’t so sad. I cannot understand how anyone could get it so wrong! Very poor research. There is NO such word as Coedy!! I’ve written another reply too, before I saw your comment Ann.
Would there be a single Welsh man in his 50s who'd welcome an American retired teacher who travels lots?
Hello Barbara🌹❤️
A Welsh speaking farmer with a bit of land any good Barbara?
(Watch my farming video if you like)
I love Wales. It’s has such stunning countryside, great local food and drinks, rugged coastlines and mountains. (Aberystwyth is massively over rated though ) it’s just a shame that for some reason the Welsh seem to have an attitude problem. I always wanted to retire to mid/North Wales.
What attitude problem?
@@tsarnicholasii274 800 years of oppression. I guess we're supposed to just sit back and take it.
The reality is that if people treat Wales, its people and its culture with respect, we welcome *anyone*. Yes, even the English. It's not the English people in general that we have a problem with. It's just the arrogant ones who look down on us as inferior and treat us like second class citizens in our own country that we dislike.
Hello Julie ❤️🌹
You can come to Wales anytime.
Aberystwyth is far from overrated. You are awfully ignorant but I expect nothing less
The German-English company in Montabaur e.V. is organizing a British evening with the
theme of Wales. We have no Provit and take no entrance fee. Would you allow us to use your movie in our multimedia presentation?
Would you please contact me at info@deg-montabaur.de.
Thank you very much
Monika Winter
would it have been so difficult to have found a Welsh speaking person to narrate - it bugs me to have an English sounding narration of this lovely video
some of this lady’s pronunciations are really strange! there are apps on line that will say the words for you or just ask a Welsh speaking person. eg ‘Coed y Brenin’ means forest (literally ‘trees’) of the king, or ‘the king’s forest’. there is no such word as Coedy! In this instance, the letter ‘y’ sounds like the English letter ‘u’. It is not ‘i’ as in eye. it’s is ‘u’ as in under, or unfair etc.
When you said st fagans I cringed
Cardiffmaniac oh my days, st fagans. I used to go there when I was like 7 years old.
Ist hier irgendwer von der 7A😂
Not Bad, but her Welsh words are not as good as it should be!
Bryn Noble because she’s not welsh lol
@@kamilfrancoolczak I believe she's mancunian 🤔
Yes I can pronounce *inhales* well it's pronounced Llanvirepwllgwingillsllantisllodrobogogogoch
Why on earth didn't they have an announcer who can pronounce the Welsh words? This is not music to my ears...but it could have been with a little common sense in terms of verbal presentation. I was born and raised in Llandudno - this woman's pronunciation is not acceptable
Why is it such a big deal? Some of her pronunciation was pretty good, some of it was off. So what? Welsh is a tricky language for those who didn't grow up with it. But to whinge about it in a video designed to get people to come and visit just means that anyone reading the comments would think that the Welsh are a horrible, hate-filled people. That's not who we are. So why not just accept a non-native person saying nice things about our country, and even thank them for it?
@@bujin1977 well said. Its not even aimed at people in Wales. Some people need to watch videos about places outside of where they live and expand their thinking.
My country speaks 99 percent English as a Welsh person I can barely say anything in Welsh!
every day disgusting weather, wind and rain, and everything is over priced not to mention lousy food
Margaret Someone got dumped by a Welshman.
I wouldn't date a Welshman, because most are bald, ugly and drink too much, but I live here and I know what I'm talking about, Wales is a place to be avoided and to visit!
You "hit it right on the button" Margaret but missed saying that, Welsh don't know how to speak English properly and are generally quite lazy. And discriminate but wouldn't know why, as they have nothing to brag about or offer.
Stupid fucking woman; which wonderful, amazing, perfect country that is full of hot sexy male models are you from? You must ben a perfect 10 yourself to be able to pass judgement like that. Wow...I wish you had a photo of yourself and not a cat.
There is NOT one 10 in all of Wales. 99.99% are barely 2 at best.
Terrible, boring voice over... drove me away from the video and give it a thumbs down.
You here because of Vinland saga too?
So much hatred from the English in these comments. It's actually embarrassing. One thing I do notice though is the international comments are all loving and supportive. Says all you need to know
A pity about the poor pronunciations
oh cmon give her a break, not all foreigners have our tongue
I can walk to carreg cenen from my house.
If you are into travel...I strongly recommend for you to avoid Wales, at all cost. Trust me on that one. And it's a lousy place to live!
Totally agree with you @be real!
Just because you're from Merthyr
@@tsarnicholasii274 what's wrong with Llanelli, I'll answer for you, nothing.
I am living in Wales AND YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG.
Did the commentator win the contest to find the most un-impassioned voice to promote Wales? She sounds as if she'd really rather be doing anything other than this. It's like listening to a bloody robot. Terrible.
I visited Wales. Hated it. Weather is cold and humid. My host was a full blown alcholic. Jet lag was horrid. People are narrow minded. Everyone looks depressed. Just ugly people.
I visited Wales. I loved it. That was two years ago. I spent two years working to afford moving from my country to Wales. Now I'm proud to say that I live in Wales and the people are lovely.
Fern Claire that sucks. Same happened to me when I visited London.
Fern Claire People in Scotland are friendlier (just not to the English...but if you’re not English you have nothing to worry about getting).
Ritianne Abohason What country are you from?
