This, and Super Mario Advance were my first GBA games in 2001. This game was superior for the time. Great memories.

I remember getting this game for Christmas along with a Game Boy Advance when I was 11 years old. I spent hours playing. But what really annoyed me was the password system; I'd write passwords down on paper but I kept getting a "Wrong Password" message more times than I could count.

The song in the first race sounds like the guitar solo part in "Painkiller" by Judas Priest.
I remember how this would make my thumbs ache from holding down the keys on a tiny game boy color. Good memories.

Second, it was made by a totally different company (Boss Games)
There was a game in this series for the GBC: Pocket GT/Pocket Racer. The 1st of the series, 'twas released with little if any promotion or fanfare.
After the 3 GBA games, the next one would be GT Cube for, yep, the GameCube. A Japan exclusive, it'd be released abroad as GT Pro Series for the Wii.
As Harlem Hyena says GT Cube is the update fans of this game (and Advance GT 3) should look for.. it’s got all the drift mayhem and challenge an great arcade race game requires. MTO really were a great racing game developer.. up there with more famous names like Sega, Namco and Codemasters. Well done MTO. 👏👏👏
The japanese version of the GT Advances are almost always superior, it's a damn shame.
GT Advance has a save system in the Japanese release and Advance Rally has exclusive unlicensed european cars in its japanese version. Haven't found a difference in Pro Concept Racing but there might be.
The final tournament is damn hard
Thats a plus, this game for GBA has a sweet spot between fun and challenging.
@@JSGT9016 It's also odd because the racers are easier with slower cars with better handling than faster cars

Its been a long time since i played this on the GBA directly, I thought it got an save option, but if not, im sure it got a password with your progress anywhere in the menus.

Play the emulator. I have the real cartridge and the GBA, but i rather emulate it on the PC, and record the gameplay while at it.

Estoy casi seguro que el juego (cartucho físico) tiene su propia memoria interna, si juegas con emulador, obviamente te toca salvar con la función propia del emulador.
