hey, the password is also written on the internal side of the battery door. No need to connect. Cheers:-)

My Sony FDR x3000 use to connect to my camera, no problem. Then I turned it on after using it a couple of times and it told me to input the password. I put in the password (from the sticker, also, from recovering the password with the USB connection) and then after doing that, the wifi disappears and the camera will not connect to the iPhone through the PlayMemories app. I am using my iPhone 7 with latest updates installed. The camera just doesn't work. Very frustrating.
