What's that thing he starts playing at 6:01? He played the same thing on the Attitude To Live DVD... Sounds like some kind of Classical piece, but I'm looking for the title...
This song name is "Suddenly", Syu's online web guitar lesson "You play hard" for made it. but this song also entered the list for the first Syu solo instrumental album "You Play Hard" will be released 9 november 2016.
Bruce Lai I meant it's from his web songs You Play Hard. So the title is Suddenly? I thought it was Mental Weariness. facebook.com/video.php?v=373254969503110&theater
From what I could tell the string came off a little at the bottom of the bridge of the guitar. Somehow, he fixed it within seconds and continued on playing like nothing happened lol!
I get it. Then the problem tune o matic birdge system. Not a mistake. Bul, also there is a one mistake in 04:48 And, also why not use own amplifier. :( Diezel amp or orange. Syu tones more warm tones.
He doesn't have enough reverb/countour and so after he stops playing it feels "empty" it kinda sucks unfortunately, also whoever tuned his guitar or checked the intonatio did it wrong, which led to his guitar string being placed above the bridge saddle and so when he bent it, it moved away from the bridge itself, that kind of sucks for SYU I'm sure he wanted to put as much of a show as he could.
now that I rewatched it's funny because he says ESP Japan guitar is very good and not available in america, and then his strings snaps out of his saddle. A fan of ESP, but he really got bad karma there haha
Wheelio little does he know that that "Japanese guy" despite being influenced by the malm, fucking slays him, is one of the greatest guitarists of our time, and because hes japanese, isn't all that well known.
Briar Foley Funny all I hear is some Japanese guy playing Yngwie riffs however if thats what constitutes being heralded as "one of the greatest guitarists of all time" fuck I'm putting on Kabuki make -up and start re-learning all the Yngwie tunes I use to play with my band in the early 90's. Lots of great guitarists these days but I tend to respect the ones that strive to be unique. I mean back in the day Akira Takasaki didnt wear his influences on his sleeve as much as this guy.
Kelly Jackson I'm not upset at all. I'm actually laughing at the fact that you think Galneryus sound like Yngwie Malmsteen. Stick to listening to The Carpenters because metal clearly isn't your forte.
ESP models are hand crafted in Japan with limited availability. That's the primary reason they're so expensive. If they were mass produced as an Edwards model, those would be cheaper. The Edwards models are assembled in China and QC'ed in Japan which is why they are not as expensive.
That dudes pretty insane despite the fact that it really didnt do it for me. I respect the hell out of his skill dont get me wrong...I guess thats me growing out of the shredder phase.
Are you kidding.. This guy is playing baroque style neoclassical arpeggios and you're talking about a guy who literally shredded the crap out of the pentatonic scale with a bunch of chromatics in between and did divebombs like half of the time. Dimebag is good but please don't.
"Very good! Not for selling in America. Japan Only!" haha that's direct
Hahaha totally
i love how he brings his orange pumpkin with him everywhere he goes now
How'd you notice something like that? That's interesting lol.
Helloween tribute?
Perfect! Wish I were there!
No no no , lol , on 4:15 , it's only for you noticed how the song " Suddenly" is perfect !!! Ahh I love this song !!!

I wish I was even 1/10th as good as him
legendary
Syuさんの弾く曲の中ではかなりメロディアスな曲ですね!
流石としかいえない
TOCA MUITOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Shredding with a soul is like reading a manga, better than the paperback novel with the twist of incitement. :)
He's playing legato very good

What's that thing he starts playing at 6:01? He played the same thing on the Attitude To Live DVD... Sounds like some kind of Classical piece, but I'm looking for the title...

AC Jams nope this shitty marshal

This song name is "Suddenly",
Syu's online web guitar lesson "You play hard" for made it.
but this song also entered the list for the first Syu solo instrumental album "You Play Hard" will be released 9 november 2016.

Bruce Lai I meant it's from his web songs You Play Hard. So the title is Suddenly? I thought it was Mental Weariness.
facebook.com/video.php?v=373254969503110&theater
What happened there 04:15?
From what I could tell the string came off a little at the bottom of the bridge of the guitar. Somehow, he fixed it within seconds and continued on playing like nothing happened lol!
The high e string was caught outside the fret board. It's happened to me before.
First time i've seen him doing a mistake in a video, well, nobody's perfect =P
I get it. Then the problem tune o matic birdge system. Not a mistake. Bul, also there is a one mistake in 04:48
And, also why not use own amplifier. :( Diezel amp or orange. Syu tones more warm tones.
It wasn´t a mistake, the E string gets out the bridge....
es un pokemon
ah ! ah! ah! si lo parece !
del tipo trueno hahaha
He doesn't have enough reverb/countour and so after he stops playing it feels "empty" it kinda sucks unfortunately, also whoever tuned his guitar or checked the intonatio did it wrong, which led to his guitar string being placed above the bridge saddle and so when he bent it, it moved away from the bridge itself, that kind of sucks for SYU I'm sure he wanted to put as much of a show as he could.
yeah...maybe yes maybe no..otherwise ONE thing never change!..Syu still good! :)
now that I rewatched it's funny because he says ESP Japan guitar is very good and not available in america, and then his strings snaps out of his saddle. A fan of ESP, but he really got bad karma there haha
this shit rock
i wonder what this god can do with an acoustic guitar
diego havidsyah he did an acoustic version of wind blows and still loving you..go check them out!!
This guys killer lol
Japanese guy playing Yngwie riffs -am I missing something?
Yeah... a brain.
Wheelio aww I've upset the fanbois
Kelly Jackson I'm not upset at all. I'm actually laughing at the fact that you think Galneryus sound like Yngwie Malmsteen. Stick to listening to The Carpenters because metal clearly isn't your forte.
あれsyuちょっと調子悪い?
弦がブリッジから外れたのはしゃあないとして、ちょっとゲイン控えめギターの音色硬いよね、あえてそうしたのかもしれんが。
nice to still hear him playing Spinalcord tunes
they need to get their asses back together and release some gr8 shit, new Galneryus is meh
They are still bro?
Is like an anime song
His guitars are fucking expensive ! His Crying V model is costs like 5500 dollars and I can't see why...
and his snakeskin strap costs like 80 dollars...
ESP models are hand crafted in Japan with limited availability. That's the primary reason they're so expensive. If they were mass produced as an Edwards model, those would be cheaper. The Edwards models are assembled in China and QC'ed in Japan which is why they are not as expensive.
Randy Rhodes was along time ago…people are still trying to catch up with him...
whatever, grandpa. randy would never have been able to play some of the galneryus solos without another couple decades of practice lol
That dudes pretty insane despite the fact that it really didnt do it for me. I respect the hell out of his skill dont get me wrong...I guess thats me growing out of the shredder phase.
Average.... But how bout the metal moves and the foot on the monitor...🙊🙈🙉
Average ? XD You clearly don't know what you're talking about
You're right. This is just another "average" day for Syu.
MightyPsoum oh no, he was just calling one of the finest guitarists of our time average,
Briar Foley I know right...
Melodies are fine, but picking is crumpled in so many moments. Disappointing.
George lynch is better
Micky from Slipknot is better.
you can't compare a nu-metal guitar player with a shredder /neoclassical guitar player.
+cristopher jimenez you're right. can't compare shit with gold.
fanboy detected
+bentuzzzzi poser detected.
and why do you even here if I may ask?
個性がまったくない、、
ギターの先生ならいいけど。。
崇拝してる神様が違うだけですに。
Someone said Dimebag!! Hes nowhere near the class of Dimebag.Although very good, Dimebag (rip) was the best!
Are you kidding.. This guy is playing baroque style neoclassical arpeggios and you're talking about a guy who literally shredded the crap out of the pentatonic scale with a bunch of chromatics in between and did divebombs like half of the time. Dimebag is good but please don't.
In fact,it's the other way round!
Syu has one Dimebag at each finger....
