    I loved those R110A’s when I was a kid, oh well, at least we are having better days with the R62/A, and R142/A.

    I heard about the r211 trains being pulled out of passenger service due to gearboxes leaking so I came to this video to say that I hope the new r211 trains don’t become a failure like the r110a and r110b trains even though by the time I existed the r110s were already retired😢

    Omg I loved the R110A classic trains. All the classic stuff is gone now. Rip R110A was my favorite train. And I miss the Redbirds

      @@vintagerailfan what did those numbers and letters on the front rollsign of the R110A/B mean
      I'm not talking about the train routes. there were some little highlighted mix of letters and numbers on the bottom of the rollsign window

    R110A and B were removed due to door issues, Fire Damage and Brake problems so its pretty much a disaster

      Josh Updegrove It was 10 cars. That formed a single train for revenue 2 and 5 train service.

    There are two r110as curently still alive but not used cars #8005 and #8001 you can see them next two to car r110bs at the 207 street yard so its not fully ded thank God i love this train

    Just because the R110A had brake problems doesn't mean that they have to retire. Was MTA dumb enough to retire the R110A cars just for a small problem? they could have fixed them. I know they are a test train but why did they have to retire for such a small problem?

      I mean they were a mess they also had fire problems and the MTA repeatedly repaired the R110B just for it to break down again and the R110A wasn’t any better

      It's Me they took them out because they wanted to test out the new technology for the r142aS/r142 plus they broke down a lot Even I wish they stayed in service
