Love your vids, your banter monologs crack me up, with slang only an Albertan would grasp the majority of. Four older brothers worked for decades in Alberta and two settled up in Lone Pine (Goose Lake) with backhoe / general construction business (Bremner Backhoe) so lots of familiar territory, favourite roads (the Yellowhead!) and some of the same headaches. I did my time in the south (Okotoks to Red Deer). Keep 'em coming.
You're supposed to pick up the house almost all the way to the deck before stretching.. By the way I started watching your channel months ago Because i became a winch truck driver Learn a lot from you We mainly haul houses 12 and 14 wide You're a great operator
That’s just harder on the sling since there’s no roll. Just up off the deck is sufficient for less drag on the deck. I don’t really see the need to have it way up to the top. When you winch over the hard roll it starts to curl your sling after a few times doing this. Plus some scissors necks are at a 45 angle so you can’t
I am semi retired and living in a very sandy soil (sand no soil) and kinda miss working in the mudd and real dirt with green grass and foliage. Awsome job!
My 2014 Jeep Wrangler is the same for oil filter housing leaking, and the thermostat housing causing issues. "Thermostat Rationality. Error code P1028. lol. Pricey fix.
Yeah same engine I de believe. I’ve done the oil cooler was just shy of $800 cad. My friends shop did it. I’m still to do the thermostat here next once it warms up
extremely horrible, but will be nice when its done. been seeing lots of improvement in the city. living in it while under construction would be an pain tho
Got to keep er long so I don’t make the drives light. So many times I see guys make this mistake to just have to stretch back out because they sip out.
Damn oilfield truckers always bitchin about having to play in the mud. Blackhills trucking out of Watford city North Dakota back in 1983 hauling crudeoil and moving rigs.
Hey, my guy who wraps your dash, or how do ya go about it? See it in Frank now this one and looks mint. Would like to do something like that in my truck. Great videos keep um coming. Respect from your drivers down in Vermont
Buy some vinyl of your choice. Heat gun and a razor blade. Start on one side and work across. It’s a bit of work but results are worth it. Use the heat gun to soften it and pull it around inner corners. Trim off excess on the back side. Possibly use some type of glue to keep it on the back. Will have minor shrinkage when running the heater in cold months. I’d say buy extra and try it on something else to se how it works.
Awesome, thanks for the tip. I'll give it a go. Being the fleet mechanic, I can be pretty crafty. I just didn't know where to start. Thanks, and stay safe!
100% should be minimum 7 coveralls, like hell on the days where you go through 3 pairs! Hey, do you down shift on the fly with your auxiliary? I know lots of guys who do, they say you do it just like a split(let off, shift, roll back into it) but I’ve never had the balls to do it, will upshift all the time with it
no i havnt been hearing it too, but same as you, i will but ive always been told no...... so i guess ill have to try and defeats the purpose of me getting a 4 spd manual in my next truck. but still going to push for it just to have 2 sticks again
@@TimelapseTruckerRTOT an old manual A-box would be legit! The first bed I drove, 89kw 300” with a 70t Tulsa, 13 speed main, 4 speed auxiliary, and 2 speed rear ends! That thing would do 120mph forwards, 60mph in reverse! Was an old Bar-de truck
Again, I am trippin' on how you blended the music into your video. One tune in particular struck a chord with me and I can't figure out who it is. It starts at about 9:50 and I like that girls singing style. Anyway, if you could shoot me a link, or just let me know the artist and name of the song, it would solve the mystery. I am hooked on your vids, as I drove trucks for 34 yrs. and did a lot of different gigs , but nothing in the oil field line. Never had the chance to run a C-500 either, just about everything else though. Keep em coming, I enjoy the efforts.
heres the song, no problem, its a popular oneczcams.com/video/43Smr5OOXEc/video.htmlsi=gZNxTurOQggWOABK thanks for watching too. i get song bug too and know how annoying it is to not find out what song it is
Don't you just love slop? Why when they build approaches to well do they never build them wide enough, it like that don't understand how long 60 feet is to turn
Awesome video Jerrold! Mud sucks almost as bad as ice i even had a flashback of fracing around wainwright during monsoon season my god i never seen so much mud .

😆 Bush boning
yeah not my favorite thing. should have a scissor neck boner, then you can swap to tall regular mode for the bush

I would miss mud if I didn’t have any. Weird cause most guys hate it. I think I enjoy anything with a challenge so it’s not normalized
@@TimelapseTruckerRTOTnow you have me wondering if on spot chains will work in clay
Im jealous you get to drive such badass trucks. One day I will buy a C500 and be king.. Keep the videos coming bro...
Waited most my life to get into one. Is my most favourite, so ugly and big it’s badass status, get sad when I get anything less
I sure enjoyed this video for some reason. God Bless you and your family
Thank you. It’s was pretty stress packed. Great editing and a ton of stuff a trucker hates but would watch a poor guy have to do it🤙

Brings back old memories…. Aaaaaahh!!!!! I got muddy!!! I quit!!
I try to always chain up before I get the tires all muddy, doesn’t always work tho
Your clips . Make me laugh all the time
👍
You should totally dress up like Irkl on Halloween.
Irkl the super trucker😊😊😊
I’d be labeled racist if I put on black makeup😆
@TimelapseTruckerRTOT well you could bypass the coloring. 😆 lol
"Chain 'er down and go battle the city"
Spoken like a true heavy haul truck driver.
#JCWillExplode
The city was extra crazy with all the construction on Yellowhead. Wasn’t thinking it would be that bad.
Feeling you on the getting parts!😂
Love getting goodies, hate driving to parts store
I work just passed where you loaded that construction is a pain in the ass to deal with .

Another awesome one 👌
Thanks again!
Lock em up and go, nice
Great stuff bro 👍
Thanks 👍
Lock em up and go
Rare this works, but worth a shot before you cry for help
Keep on truckin kool dude.
Thanks
Stretch a few holes for weight 😂

I’m a picker operator I don’t go thru 7 pairs of coveralls a year😂
I’m very aware how you guys stay clean.
I also haven’t put on a set of tire chains in the summer in years so that helps
Damn oilfield truckers always bitchin about having to play in the mud.
Blackhills trucking out of Watford city North Dakota back in 1983 hauling crudeoil and moving rigs.
Almost made a summer with no mud. Maybe only chained up 4 times, 400% less than last year😀

No one uses a trombone to rig move. And I would have used a highboy if it wasn’t for the city part

Sometimes we get some crazy rain in Alberta, can be dry and rain to make everything stuck. Turn a easy job into we need a bed or cat
