I still remember binge-watching their Zelda theories, the livestreams where both him and Steph were playing viewer-requested games, and when the channel just reached 1mil followers. It's so crazy how far they've gotten and still maintained their passion towards their audience.
I miss they playing together. I'm relatively new, so I didn't get my childhood with him, and so watching him and Steph together was my favorite part of the channels.
Aw man, Steph and Mat once read one of my comments on stream back when GTLive was actually live every week and Steph was on the couch and it was absolutely a highlight of my life.

Videos about game theories existed long before matpat, he was just one of the few to use the idea to teach real world concepts; and honestly he failed at that in the latter part of his career. I hope he loves well, but I'm not gonna miss him.
