That scene where she was behind the stage curtain was absolutely outstanding, I like how we actually got to see Afton express sadness in a necessary situation. Also, this was cool to see Ballora as the spirit of Afton's wife despite it not being canon but still possible.

“Dad? Mom?” Micheal said, William gave a small gasp but Clara sent Mike off to bed then she let out a big sigh. “I’m sorry William. But I’m taking Mike and all my things!” The knife started to go loose but he held on to it. And with one arm Mr Afton held Clara hand “I’m sorry” Clara gave a kiss.
Then something started dripping? Was it her red lipstick? Afton’s knife went straight through her, William held her body and kept crying “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” He carried the body and went underground. “I hope you like dancing Clara…”
He vanished from the ground. Clara opened her eyes-

She’s leading him on because she knows she has that influence over him…even if it isn’t as strong anymore. I generally feel like He regrets deeply for Killing Ballora the way his eyes widen, him grabbing at his chest where his heart would be probably, as he watches this spirit relive her death through shadows, like he couldn’t control his psychopathic tendencies. If anything if he didn’t escape in the end Ballora would’ve torn him apart but before he probably cried saying how sorry he was and she has every right to tear him limb from bloody limb.

Not sure why, but one of my favorite parts is the first person view with Ballora climbing onto the ceiling. Such a smooth rotation!
