I had one of his boards. One of the best decks I ever had. Strong and didn't razor tail fast. I skate a crusty curb spot a lot, so a lot of my boards razor out fast. Def recommend.

I appreciate the hell out of this man's passion. As someone who rides the boards, and just as a fellow human being, stoked on others passion in their purpose. This guy has got that. This was really a cool process to watch being molded. He clearly loves what he does and the end result has got to show that. 🙌🖤

Very insightful video. I got into the idea of pressing my own decks when I was younger. I even started building a press and everything. Had a lot of trouble with sourcing the maple veneer as it doesn't grow here so would have to imported

Love this, I ask all the kids at the park for their old chipped up boards and shit, and make a deck that I can ride out of it, all the same way, this makes me want to get blanks and just fuckin run with it

It was actually skateboards that made me question how are things laminated. I always thought it was archery limbs. I bet people are adding exotic materials to their lay ups but do these actually work? Carbon fiber or glass cloth.

I wonder what hardwood would work instead of plywood, that would probably not make sense to use hardwood cause of the weight, plywood is also cheap and solid but not very fun to work with specialy with planes

I’m pretty sure he talks about pressing his own wood toward the beginning. Said it’s his least fav part but very necessary for QC. I think in his early days he was buying pressed blanks.
