The truth matters...that's why we "fight". Souls are worth fighting for. Pan da Pan da I love you! last night on my TV in England Ade Adepetan, a young African-born man was travelling in Africa with his wheelchair as he cannot walk. He's wonderful and we love him here in the UK. My eyes were very wide and my mouth much wider open when he went to an enormous Church where over a million people meet for worship! How I love you African Christians! How I would love to worship with you! Such joy and shared love in our Lord! I know you have suffering and so many of you are not rich and your lives are hard but you love God and praise Him together with such conviction and joy it makes me want to join you all! I do like what you have said above. In this end of times we must concentrate on the bigger picture not the little things. There is no time to squabble between ourselves. Now is the time for saving souls and quickly. We need the good news to get out there and for those that have ears to hear let them hear! God bless you all in Africa!. Noah and his family were still on the Earth during the Genesis Flood... they didn't go anywhere. Soooooo, looking for the return of our savior is now considered apostasy by the "real" church that refuses to look for the return of Jesus. Methinks Jesus said that when we see these things we are to look up for our redemption draws near. I wonder if they realize they are accusing the faithful believers of apostasy, while at the same time they are in disobedience by refusing to look up. The apostates calling the faithful apostates. At the moment I'm churchless. Finding a faithful church is like finding a needle in a haystack. As my work is driving an 18 wheeler, I stick to what I can find online. The truckstop chapels dont really do much. They do get out the gospel but have no clue about discipleship. I run from any groups that don't teach prophetically, or typographically. Most pastors are hirelings and the pews are mostly non believers looking for more Hollywood.

Well God bless you Amaranth because as you say, your blessed hope is your Hope in Jesus and Eternal life He offers those who go to the Cross, repent and receive His salvation! We should not fear as you say and it may well be we are taken out by death prior to the Tribulation by way of persecution or something else. This Rapture, though IS clearly spoken of in Thess 4: 16,17 and 1Cor 15:52.... and actually in the Latin Vulgate the word Raptura is used but in Greek, its harpazo. Just read those 2 verses and tell me what kind of event it sounds like. And one more thing, we ARE clearly told early on just who is doing the unleashing of persecution on the earth: Its in Rev Chap 6... 'And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the LAMB! 17For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” This is a God thing! Im not doubting a rapture, but i belive in a post but before wrath rapture. There are several scriptures that makes me to belive this and also an experience with being mislead once before of people saying the day of jesus was at hand. This was during the blood moons so i dicided then to read the bible instead of listening to man. Also, when considering how many failed predictions and im not talking about just date setters i do know strongly belive Jesus and the Apostles was talking to all not just the Jews on to how to avoid being misled.(looking for those signs spoken about) Also, its not god who is unleashing the persucution. In revalation we see the multitude that comes out of the tribulation. It is told that saints will be persucuted because they bare witness of god and jesus. God will newer persecute those that follow him in faith, if you belive this you are misunderstanding the scripture. We are told also that god will remove the restrainer, meaning he will remove the restraint on evil, however it does not mean its god that is doing the persucution of his followers. It just means he will allow evil to persucute, kill etc like he allowed the devil to test JOB. In this case however its not JOB/saints/church that are being testet. Its mankind, those that wont belive. Since the world does not wish to belive in god but want to solve problems with only human help god will give the world what it wants and that is free reign of evil. The church however will be kept from the hour of trial. For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false,2 Thessalonians 2:11 This is what the hour of trial i belive is spoken of.

Think about this folks........these fools who preach against the pre-trib rapture, against those who preach about it and against those of us who stand by it, what else are they "preaching" that is off the mark and leading people astray? Rev Conyers - Jesus Christ does not descend to earth until the Second Coming where his feet literally touch down on the Mt. of Olives (Zechariah 14:4). At the rapture, we meet him in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). 2 totally different events.

Jesus will of course come again, but after reading the bible i think he will come not the way alot of people excpect him too. The way i understand it is that Jesus will come after the tribulation but before the final wrath is poured out.

I dealt with these people daily, they accused us (pre-trib) following a wrong theology, therefore we'll not saved, we'll be going to hell. I tried to explain it but they yelled at me 🤐.
Here's another "odd" question for post trib believers to answer in order to remain consistent in their view... IF the Church is caught up at the end of the tribulation and immediately returns with Jesus to the earth... Why did our Savior promise to return, gather us and take us to the Father's house, to the place he is preparing for us? So those dwelling places will go unoccupied? Or is Jesus preparing a place for us in vain? Or is it as prophesied in Isaiah 26: 20 which states.. "Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until His wrath has passed by." .. The Father's house is in Heaven. The Bride of Christ will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air where we will then be taken to the places He has prepared for us. After His wrath has been poured out we will return with Him to the earth where believers will rule and rein with Christ in the Kingdom Age. Shalom and Maranatha!!
When the Hebrews went into their rooms and shut doors until God's wrath passed by, were they not still on Earth? That happened in Egypt, as God tormented them with 10 plagues. The Bride of Christ will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, but not before the resurrection of the dead. The pre-tribbers have it backwards... the dead is raised first. Also, Jesus isn't hidden in Heaven for some secret rapture. He is DESCENDING to Earth to set up His Kingdom (I Thess. 4).

Great message Jan and David! It's so important to get the truth about Christ out there and show that there are teachers who don't know the truth and don't trust Christ's word. I don't want to condemn anyone that's not for me but they're walking dark path. Frank Schaeffer's a terrible mocker of the believers in Jesus Christ! and to think he grew up with wonderful bible believers/teachers, too. He's doing great damage to the gospel of our Lord and Savior. He going to answer for it all, too. His heart isn't right as anyone who is born again can tell, he's not born again to speak the way he does. His never going to see his parents or any one who's gone to be with the Lord in heaven if he don't repent and put his faith and trust in the Lord Jesus. * The born again believers are going to be raptured - caught up to be with the Lord in the air. But Sad for the ones that will be left behind too, They'll have to endure the tribulation and wrath of God. They can't say they weren't warned! They'll have to hide and wait it all out, or be killed if captured, or worse, turn away from Jesus and take the mark of the beast and be lost forever. ;( Sad!

I love Jan and totally get her concern but as much as she loves Jesus, so do I and am a pre wrath Christian who was taught pre trib for 15 years. Study and come to your own conclusion. Do not let any pastor tell you one is right, let the Holy Spirit lead all. Blessing!
If I where a Pastor that did not had a minimal understanding of Bible Prophecy I would simply put JD Farag or the like up on a screen in my Church and we would all learn. Avoiding Bible prophecy is very simply a condition of the heart nothing more, nothing less. Those who love Jesus and His word love Bible prophecy, they desire to hear the whole counsel of God and will settle for nothing less. The fact that Prophecy is rarely expounded upon is in itself a fulfillment of Prophecy. We where told of the forthcoming falling away or apostasy of the Church. And also that there would come a famine for hearing of the words of The Lord, its here! Paul was free from the blood of all men because he has not failed to declare unto the Church the whole counsel of God. A lot of big names that are not " free from the blood of all men " Judgement will begin with the house of God

My church never speaks of the rapture. My son in law questioned the elders and they said it was too controversial.If it wasn’t for the teachers like Jan and others on the Internet I would feel very alone.

Thank you so much for this video presentation by Jan Markell on this vitally important subject for those of us who love the Lord and look forward to the moment when He will call His Church home. I have listened to each of those people who promote such hostility against those of us who do believe in the PRE-Tribulation Rapture of the Church, and now I understand why it was that, not long after I began listening to those people here online, that I felt inside, that I should not continue listening to anything they had to say. I had never heard them speak against the PRE-Trib Rapture, but I know now that was probably the main reason why the Lord didn't wish me to continue listening to them. Now that I know what they genuinely believe I understand completely why I felt I needed to avoid them altogether. It amazes me! And, I know this: that those who do literally attack those of us who believe that Christ will call His Church home prior to God's wrath being poured out on those "who dwell on the earth", to me simply shows that we are definitely right to stand our ground and defend our belief in it. It shows me that it is we who are those who are the salt and light of this darkened world, and the attacks against us are not just coming from 'the world' at large, they are coming at us from within the organizations that still wish to claim association with our Lord and Savior. Places in this world, containing those among whom we should find comfort, that also claim Christ as their Lord and Savior. It makes the words of the apostle Paul literally come to life to me: "10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong....20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:"[2 Corinthians 12:10,20 KJV] God bless and MARANATHA![AMEN!]

I read Hank Hanegraaff's book "The Apocalypse Code" just out of curiosity after he had already come against Dispensationalism. Mr. Hanegraaff stated in his opening remarks that this book is the "Magnum Opus", of my career, or writing I don't recall exact wording after Magnum Opus. Anyhow, I read the book (not word for word) as it made no sense, and my mind was spinning trying to grasp his biblical reasoning, and simple logic even. , according to John Ankerberg's show, Hank Hanegraaff took over Walter Martin's company after his sudden death, replaced Martin as the Bible answer man, then got rid of all the actual scholars in the company. Hank has staffers who feed him the answers on his radio show, so he can appear to know things, but he still makes bad mistakes because he’s not actually a scholar. A few years ago, Hank converted to the Eastern Orthodox Church. I wonder if that was to ease his conscience because they view the Bible allegorically. Hank can rest easier now because their allegories seem to cancel out all the contradictions in his interpretations.
Of course the pre-trib rapture is true, it is the most like God, He pulls His people out of trouble and it is a promise. How are we supposed to live then, knowing that Christ could return for His Bride at any time.

God pulls His people out of trouble? What about persecutions and martyrdom that Christians have gone through for the last 2000 years? God is with us through our troubles. God did not promise any Christian that they wouldn't face Satan's wrath, and that will be very apparent during the Great Tribulation.
I live in South Carolina Travelers rest and I cannot find a church that preaches prophecy or the blessed hope. Very sad where do I find all of my wonderful sermons? On CZcams from you Jan from Tom Hughes and the others who I love so much. We need fellowship with other believers but it is hard to attend churches that sermons are fluffy

Pretty obvious the rapture does not happen post-tribulation, those who replenish the earth have to be those who realized the Gospel is true, and they realize it during the tribulation, after and because of the rapture of the saints.

Matthew 24:29-31 clearly states that the gathering of the elect will be after the Sun and Moon are darkened, which happens immediately AFTER the Tribulation. This is repeated in Mark 13:24-27, and is also consistent with the sequence of events described in Revelation 6 - 8, where the Sun and Moon are darkened at the breaking of the sixth seal in Rev 6; the 144,000 Jews are sealed in the first half of Rev 7, and the Rapture occurs in the 2nd half of Rev 7; and finally, God's wrath is poured out on those who are left on the earth (except the sealed Jews) in Rev 8. Matthew 24:31 explicitly states "And he shall send his angels WITH A GREAT SOUND OF A TRUMPET, and they shall gather together his elect ...", and 1 Thes 4:16 states " For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP(et) of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first". These verses both refer to the gathering of the elect at the sound of a TRUMPET, and are clearly talking about the same event, which is the Rapture, which happens AFTER the Tribulation and the Sun and Moon being darkened. 1 Thes 4:15-17 states "... the dead in Christ shall rise FIRST: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds ...". This clearly demonstrates that the Rapture is preceded by the Resurrection of the Dead in Christ. Furthermore, Revelation 20:4-6 says that those who are killed (beheaded) for refusing to worship the beast, his image, or receive his mark will be raised in the FIRST resurrection. How then is it possible for the Rapture to precede the Tribulation, if Christians who are beheaded for refusing to worship the beast during the Tribulation are included in the FIRST resurrection (which happens immediately before the Rapture)? 2 Thes 2:1-4 says that Christ will not return and gather us to him until AFTER the falling away (not the apostasy/physical departure as you claim), and the Man of Sin is sitting in the Temple declaring himself to be God. Verse 3 literally states "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (the day Jesus returns to gather us to Him, as stated in verse 1) shall not come, except there come a falling away FIRST". The Rapture occurs after the falling away and the Anti-Christ is sitting in the Temple declaring himself to be God. The 3rd Temple will be desecrated by the Anti-Christ during the Tribulation, so it is therefore irrefutable that the Rapture must take place AFTER the Tribulation. I beseech you to read the scriptures for what they say, and stop trying to make them fit the Pre-Tribulation Rapture lie by interpreting them to suit your beliefs.

So when is the 1st Resurrection ? Believers too can at times expect to go through persecutions, trials, etc as did Apostle Paul according to the Word of God. All that He promised us believers is that we are not children of wrath, because at the end of time after His millennial reign HE will not cast us into outer darkness and from HIS presence. The final wrath of God - from which believers are spared as promised by Him. 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 > And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished "with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord", and from the glory of His power; Revelation 20:6 > Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Who has "part in the first Resurrection" and when ?? The term "part in the first Resurrection " is important. The only significance of the term first Resurrection is that those gathered have no part in the Second Death (cast into the Lake of Fire and outer darkness.) All Believers have a part in The first Resurrection. There is the Resurrection to Judgement for unbelievers while for Believers it is the Resurrection to Life. Unlike the general preaching and interpretation that at His 2 coming HE will rapture or gather HIS Church the truth is that HE will gather HIS Church only at HIS 3rd coming at the end of time. Those who have a "part" in the first Resurrection and are gathered at HIS 2nd coming is those to whom the promise of the Kingdom of Heaven was made - Abraham onwards and the Jews who died while eagerly awaiting the coming of the Messiah, and those that accepted Him at His 1st coming, and those beheaded for witnessing Him like John the Baptist. For all those who believe that salvation is through grace by faith in the finished works of Yahshua, they will have "a part" in the first Resurrection only at the 3rd coming of Christ and He has cast Satan, Death and Hell into the Lake of fire. While I grow weary of the ever-growing evil in this world and the same condescending / mocking questions and comments relentlessly delivered, I am definitely not weary of looking forward to the Rapture and I've done just that since I was a youngster 60 to 65 years ago. The signs are far more numerous and obvious today than they were then. I believe it is imminent, but remains an unknown date.
I am 83 years young ( lol ! ) And a Christian since in my 20s . I have never questioned the 7 years tribulation or the rapture of the Church. The Church is the Bride of Christ . I look up every day . I know my God cannot lie . And His word says Jesus is coming to take us to be with Him before the tribulation It's his word and I believe Him .
I go to a church in Austin Tx., it took me two years to find it. Our minister at Austin Baptist Church teaches Prophecy, in fact Dr. Dyer taught a series on Revelation. The sermons were concise but easily understood. You will probably have to hunt for this kind of church but it is well worth it.

I too can't wait for the return of our gracious Lord. I do not understand how there would be a pre-trib rapture when so much of the church is in tribulation. To be a Christian in most of Asia, most of the Middle East and a significant part of North Saharan Africa is a death sentence. I rejoice in every Messianic Jew, and every new believer and understand how in this world that is only going from bad to ridiculous that the only way of remaining sane is the Blessed Hope. I remember back in 1974 hearing a young believer in his 20s (Note I was in my 20s then) say that he was a Christian Zionist. I didn't know what he was talking about and thought he was referring to some type of political thing. I did know that this fellow was a true Christian. At that time I had a strong faith in the coming of the Lord for his people before the seven year tribulation. I loved the doctrine of the rapture of the church. IN fact I didn't think I would live beyond the age of 50 because I believed that Jesus was going to rapture us out before that happened. I have noticed that many Christians believe in Israels people as the people of God no matter if they are regenerate or not. I have studied the Bible now for over 50 years and have a greater grasp of the Old Testament than I did years ago. What I have discovered was that all of Israel was not always saved, and that it was only a remnant that were the true people of God. Much of the O.T. records that Israel where heathens and lived like heathens. Only a remnant ever served God and lived like the true people of God. The same thing exists today. There is only a remnant that don't live like heathens. What about those Korah rebels in the time of Moses that the earth opened up and swallowed them alive (Numbers 16: 30). They were not saved and they weren't very chosen, nor part of the remnant that served God and were saved. Not every Israelite had the circumcision of the heart that Moses commanded the people to obtain (Deut. 10: 16; and 30: 6). Those that had the circumcised heart were the true Israel of God and His chosen. However, God made a covenant with Israel and keeps His word. Only a remnant will be saved in the Great Tribulation. The rapture is real and the Blessed Hope is something we should never lose a love for, and I do love the return of Christ for His very own (John 14: 1-3). Although, some of what we were taught back than was wrong.
these are not exactly those who mock prophecy, there are those many among Christians who are simply to scared to accept the reality of the situation at hand. As a result mockery, which wont change the facts.

I love you! last night on my TV in England Ade Adepetan, a young African-born man was travelling in Africa with his wheelchair as he cannot walk. He's wonderful and we love him here in the UK. My eyes were very wide and my mouth much wider open when he went to an enormous Church where over a million people meet for worship! How I love you African Christians! How I would love to worship with you! Such joy and shared love in our Lord! I know you have suffering and so many of you are not rich and your lives are hard but you love God and praise Him together with such conviction and joy it makes me want to join you all! I do like what you have said above. In this end of times we must concentrate on the bigger picture not the little things. There is no time to squabble between ourselves. Now is the time for saving souls and quickly. We need the good news to get out there and for those that have ears to hear let them hear!

Going through the tribulation isn't comforting. We're not going to comfort one another with the news that we're going through the tribulation. The tribulation is God's wrath. We as Christians are not subject to God's wrath!

God tells his church that he will keep us from the tribulation!

The tribulation is NOT for the church. It is for God to deal with the Jews so they return to God and recognize Jesus as the Messiah, as well as for God to pour his wrath on the non-believers.
Dying to self has NOTHING to do with the rapture or the tribulation. It's about obedience after you're saved. Living in obedience doesn't take away the promise that God has in store for our blessed hope!

This Rapture, though IS clearly spoken of in Thess 4: 16,17 and 1Cor 15:52.... and actually in the Latin Vulgate the word Raptura is used but in Greek, its harpazo. Just read those 2 verses and tell me what kind of event it sounds like.

Im not doubting a rapture, but i belive in a post but before wrath rapture. There are several scriptures that makes me to belive this
and also an experience with being mislead once before of people saying the day of jesus was at hand. This was during the blood moons so i dicided then to read the bible instead of listening to man. Also, when considering how many failed predictions and im not talking about just date setters i do know strongly belive Jesus and the Apostles was talking to all not just the Jews on to how to avoid being misled.(looking for those signs spoken about) Also, its not god who is unleashing the persucution. In revalation we see the multitude that comes out of the tribulation. It is told that saints will be persucuted because they bare witness of god and jesus. God will newer persecute those that follow him in faith, if you belive this you are misunderstanding the scripture. We are told also that god will remove the restrainer, meaning he will remove the restraint on evil, however it does not mean its god that is doing the persucution of his followers. It just means he will allow evil to persucute, kill etc like he allowed the devil to test JOB. In this case however its not JOB/saints/church that are being testet. Its mankind, those that wont belive. Since the world does not wish to belive in god but want to solve problems with only human help god will give the world what it wants and that is free reign of evil. The church however will be kept from the hour of trial.
For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false,2 Thessalonians 2:11 This is what the hour of trial i belive is spoken of.

The rapture will come when it comes. In my walk with God I find when I get impatient and dont understand why Hes taking a while in something then when it comes its better than I could have imagined and other things come into play and its mindblowing- PLEASE have patientce with the Lord as He is patient with us. He is coming and will not delay a day longer that suits His Purpose and gives glory to His Name

Think about this folks........these fools who preach against the pre-trib rapture, against those who preach about it and against those of us who stand by it, what else are they "preaching" that is off the mark and leading people astray? The first thing you need to ask yourself... what makes you so much more special than the Christians that have been persecuted and martyred the past 2000 years... so that you can escape Satan's wrath during the Great Tribulation?

Here's another "odd" question for post trib believers to answer in order to remain consistent in their view... IF the Church is caught up at the end of the tribulation and immediately returns with Jesus to the earth... Why did our Savior promise to return, gather us and take us to the Father's house, to the place he is preparing for us? So those dwelling places will go unoccupied? Or is Jesus preparing a place for us in vain? Or is it as prophesied in Isaiah 26: 20 which states.. "Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until His wrath has passed by." .. The Father's house is in Heaven. The Bride of Christ will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air where we will then be taken to the places He has prepared for us. After His wrath has been poured out we will return with Him to the earth where believers will rule and rein with Christ in the Kingdom Age. Shalom and Maranatha!!

When the Hebrews went into their rooms and shut doors until God's wrath passed by, were they not still on Earth? That happened in Egypt, as God tormented them with 10 plagues. The Bride of Christ will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, but not before the resurrection of the dead. The pre-tribbers have it backwards... the dead is raised first. Also, Jesus isn't hidden in Heaven for some secret rapture. He is DESCENDING to Earth to set up His Kingdom (I Thess. 4).

Frank Schaeffer's a terrible mocker of the believers in Jesus Christ! and to think he grew up with wonderful bible believers/teachers, too. He's doing great damage to the gospel of our Lord and Savior. He going to answer for it all, too. His heart isn't right as anyone who is born again can tell, he's not born again to speak the way he does. His never going to see his parents or any one who's gone to be with the Lord in heaven if he don't repent and put his faith and trust in the Lord Jesus. * The born again believers are going to be raptured - caught up to be with the Lord in the air. But Sad for the ones that will be left behind too, They'll have to endure the tribulation and wrath of God. They can't say they weren't warned! If I where a Pastor that did not had a minimal understanding of Bible Prophecy I would simply put JD Farag or the like up on a screen in my Church and we would all learn. Avoiding Bible prophecy is very simply a condition of the heart nothing more, nothing less. Those who love Jesus and His word love Bible prophecy, they desire to hear the whole counsel of God and will settle for nothing less. The fact that Prophecy is rarely expounded upon is in itself a fulfillment of Prophecy. We where told of the forthcoming falling away or apostasy of the Church. And also that there would come a famine for hearing of the words of The Lord, its here! Paul was free from the blood of all men because he has not failed to declare unto the Church the whole counsel of God. A lot of big names that are not " free from the blood of all men " Judgement will begin with the house of God

Thank you so much for this video presentation by Jan Markell on this vitally important subject for those of us who love the Lord and look forward to the moment when He will call His Church home. I have listened to each of those people who promote such hostility against those of us who do believe in the PRE-Tribulation Rapture of the Church, and now I understand why it was that, not long after I began listening to those people here online, that I felt inside, that I should not continue listening to anything they had to say. I had never heard them speak against the PRE-Trib Rapture, but I know now that was probably the main reason why the Lord didn't wish me to continue listening to them.
Now that I know what they genuinely believe I understand completely why I felt I needed to avoid them altogether. It amazes me! And, I know this: that those who do literally attack those of us who believe that Christ will call His Church home prior to God's wrath being poured out on those "who dwell on the earth", to me simply shows that we are definitely right to stand our ground and defend our belief in it. It shows me that it is we who are those who are the salt and light of this darkened world, and the attacks against us are not just coming from 'the world' at large, they are coming at us from within the organizations that still wish to claim association with our Lord and Savior. Places in this world, containing those among whom we should find comfort, that also claim Christ as their Lord and Savior. It makes the words of the apostle Paul literally come to life to me:

I read Hank Hanegraaff's book "The Apocalypse Code" just out of curiosity after he had already come against Dispensationalism.
Mr. Hanegraaff stated in his opening remarks that this book is the "Magnum Opus", of my career, or writing I don't recall exact wording after Magnum Opus.
Anyhow, I read the book (not word for word) as it made no sense, and my mind was spinning trying to grasp his biblical reasoning, and simple logic even.

, according to John Ankerberg's show, Hank Hanegraaff took over Walter Martin's company after his sudden death, replaced Martin as the Bible answer man, then got rid of all the actual scholars in the company.
Hank has staffers who feed him the answers on his radio show, so he can appear to know things, but he still makes bad mistakes because he’s not actually a scholar.
A few years ago, Hank converted to the Eastern Orthodox Church. I wonder if that was to ease his conscience because they view the Bible allegorically. Hank can rest easier now because their allegories seem to cancel out all the contradictions in his interpretations.
Of course the pre-trib rapture is true, it is the most like God, He pulls His people out of trouble and it is a promise. How are we supposed to live then, knowing that Christ could return for His Bride at

God pulls His people out of trouble? What about persecutions and martyrdom that Christians have gone through for the last 2000 years? God is with us through our troubles. God did not promise any Christian that they wouldn't face Satan's wrath, and that will be very apparent during the Great Tribulation.
I live in South Carolina Travelers rest and I cannot find a church that preaches prophecy or the blessed hope. Very sad where do I find all of my wonderful sermons? On CZcams from you Jan from Tom Hughes and the others who I love so much. We need fellowship with other believers but it is hard to attend churches that sermons are fluffy

Pretty obvious the rapture does not happen post-tribulation, those who replenish the earth have to be those who realized the Gospel is true, and they realize it during the tribulation, after and because of the rapture of the saints.

Matthew 24:29-31 clearly states that the gathering of the elect will be after the Sun and Moon are darkened, which happens immediately AFTER the Tribulation. This is repeated in Mark 13:24-27, and is also consistent with the sequence of events described in Revelation 6 - 8, where the Sun and Moon are darkened at the breaking of the sixth seal in Rev 6; the 144,000 Jews are sealed in the first half of Rev 7, and the Rapture occurs in the 2nd half of Rev 7; and finally, God's wrath is poured out on those who are left on the earth (except the sealed Jews) in Rev 8.
Matthew 24:31 explicitly states "And he shall send his angels WITH A GREAT SOUND OF A TRUMPET, and they shall gather together his elect ...", and 1 Thes 4:16 states " For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP(et) of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first". These verses both refer to the gathering of the elect at the sound of a TRUMPET, and are clearly talking about the same event, which is the Rapture, which happens AFTER the Tribulation and the Sun and Moon being darkened.
1 Thes 4:15-17 states "... the dead in Christ shall rise FIRST: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds ...". This clearly demonstrates that the Rapture is preceded by the Resurrection of the Dead in Christ.
Furthermore, Revelation 20:4-6 says that those who are killed (beheaded) for refusing to worship the beast, his image, or receive his mark will be raised in the FIRST resurrection.
How then is it possible for the Rapture to precede the Tribulation, if Christians who are beheaded for refusing to worship the beast during the Tribulation are included in the FIRST resurrection (which happens immediately before the Rapture)?
2 Thes 2:1-4 says that Christ will not return and gather us to him until AFTER the falling away (not the apostasy/physical departure as you claim), and the Man of Sin is sitting in the Temple declaring himself to be God. Verse 3 literally states "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (the day Jesus returns to gather us to Him, as stated in verse 1) shall not come, except there come a falling away FIRST". The Rapture occurs after the falling away and the Anti-Christ is sitting in the Temple declaring himself to be God. The 3rd Temple will be desecrated by the Anti-Christ during the Tribulation, so it is therefore irrefutable that the Rapture must take place AFTER the Tribulation.
I beseech you to read the scriptures for what they say, and stop trying to make them fit the Pre-Tribulation Rapture lie by interpreting them to suit your beliefs.

All prophecies in the Word of God is Truth; what is prophesied to Mankind is History from GOD'S perspective because HE is outside of Time.
In the Word of God, to prophesy means to preach the Word of God not to make your own prophecies.
What is causing disbelief is prominent people making their own prophecies.
Whether the rapture happens according to the theologies of individual preachers or denominations is always debatable.
What is irrefutable is that Jews and Israel have a significant role in that event when it happens.
Yahshua referred to Jews as "My sheep" while accepting that besides them He has "other sheep". The body of Christ will never replace Israel - that very thought conveys "covetousness", something we should all avoid according to the 10 commandments.
The reason all these developments of large scale migrations are happening and is being encouraged by dark forces (through corrupt politicians and naive local populations) is that these refugees will be part of the forces that compel the Jews to return to Israel where they will be gathered in time for the Great Tribulation. Only thereafter will the wrath of God be poured on countries and people that seek to destroy the Jews and Israel and following that Christ will rule for a 1000 years from the throne of David in Jerusalem.

As regards the timing of the gathering unto Himself, no one knows - for 2 reasons - (1) because Yahshua said in Mathew 24:36 > But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only and (2) the calendars have been messed up from BC to AD and 360 day years and 365 day years etc.
However, the Jews have recorded the passage of time and some have determined that this year 2018 is the year 5978 since creation. Based on the 1 day with the Lord is like a 1000 years and 6 days of work for man and the 7th day Sabbath with God the end is nearer than ever before with each passing day.
So when is the 1st Resurrection ?
Believers too can at times expect to go through persecutions, trials, etc as did Apostle Paul according to the Word of God.
All that He promised us believers is that we are not children of wrath, because at the end of time after His millennial reign HE will not cast us into outer darkness and from HIS presence. The final wrath of God - from which believers are spared as promised by Him.
2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 > And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished "with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord", and from the glory of His power;
Revelation 20:6 > Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
Who has "part in the first Resurrection" and when ??
The term "part in the first Resurrection " is important.
The only significance of the term first Resurrection is that those gathered have no part in the Second Death (cast into the Lake of Fire and outer darkness.)
All Believers have a part in The first Resurrection.
There is the Resurrection to Judgement for unbelievers while for Believers it is the Resurrection to Life.
Unlike the general preaching and interpretation that at His 2 coming HE will rapture or gather HIS Church the truth is that HE will gather HIS Church only at HIS 3rd coming at the end of time.
Those who have a "part" in the first Resurrection and are gathered at HIS 2nd coming is those to whom the promise of the Kingdom of Heaven was made - Abraham onwards and the Jews who died while eagerly awaiting the coming of the Messiah, and those that accepted Him at His 1st coming, and those beheaded for witnessing Him like John the Baptist.
Revelation 20:4 > ... and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
For all those who believe that salvation is through grace by faith in the finished works of Yahshua, they will have "a part" in the first Resurrection only at the 3rd coming of Christ and He has cast Satan, Death and Hell into the Lake of fire.
John 6:39, 40, 44 > And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which HE hath given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
At the end of time, consequent to the 1000 year reign of Christ from the throne of David in Jerusalem, after Satan has been cast into the Lake of Fire and Death and Hell are also cast into the Lake of Fire there is the Resurrection to Life and the Resurrection to Judgement before the first earth passes away.
In any event all world religions teach Judgement at the end based on man's performance (Resurrection to Judgement for nonbelievers in Yahshua) or works while Faith only in Christ for salvation and redemption is based on His Grace.
The reason for believing in the Resurrection to Life for Gentile Believers only at His 3rd coming should also give consideration to Job 14: 12 - 14 > So man lieth down, and riseth not: "till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep". O that Thou wouldest hide me in the grave (Sheol), that Thou wouldest keep me secret, until Thy wrath be past, that Thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
It's only at the end of time that first heaven (where birds fly) and second heaven (sun, moon and stars) pass away along with the First earth.
Finally, remember that the final abode of all the gathered is the New Earth where God dwells with Man forever.
The Word of God never states that Man will dwell with God; why is God creating a New Earth, if Heaven was where Man was to dwell.
For every Word of God to be True the summary above is the only logical interpretation.

We know people who have glorified bodies are not given in marriage and can not bare children

While I grow weary of the ever-growing evil in this world and the same condescending / mocking questions and comments relentlessly delivered, I am definitely not weary of looking forward to the Rapture and I've done just that since I was a youngster 60 to 65 years ago. The signs are far more numerous and obvious today than they were then. I believe it is imminent, but remains an unknown date.

I go to a church in Austin Tx., it took me two years to find it. Our minister at Austin Baptist Church teaches Prophecy, in fact Dr. Dyer taught a series on Revelation. The sermons were concise but easily understood. You will probably have to hunt for this kind of church but it is well worth it.

I too can't wait for the return of our gracious Lord. I do not understand how there would be a pre-trib rapture when so much of the church is in tribulation. To be a Christian in most of Asia, most of the Middle East and a significant part of North Saharan Africa is a death sentence. I rejoice in every Messianic Jew, and every new believer and understand how in this world that is only going from bad to ridiculous that the only way of remaining sane is the Blessed Hope. I remember back in 1974 hearing a young believer in his 20s (Note I was in my 20s then) say that he was a Christian Zionist. I didn't know what he was talking about and thought he was referring to some type of political thing. I did know that this fellow was a true Christian. Although, at the time I thought if he is a Christian Zionist what does that make me. I figured that I was a just a Christian follower of Jesus. At that time I had a strong faith in the coming of the Lord for his people before the seven year tribulation. I loved the doctrine of the rapture of the church. IN fact I didn't think I would live beyond the age of 50 because I believed that Jesus was going to rapture us out before that happened. I have noticed that many Christians believe in Israels people as the people of God no matter if they are regenerate or not. I have studied the Bible now for over 50 years and have a greater grasp of the Old Testament than I did years ago. What I have discovered was that all of Israel was not always saved, and that it was only a remnant that were the true people of God. Much of the O.T. records that Israel where heathens and lived like heathens. Only a remnant ever served God and lived like the true people of God. The same thing exists today. There is only a remnant that don't live like heathens. What about those Korah rebels in the time of Moses that the earth opened up and swallowed them alive (Numbers 16: 30). They were not saved and they weren't very chosen, nor part of the remnant that served God and were saved. Not every Israelite had the circumcision of the heart that Moses commanded the people to obtain (Deut. 10: 16; and 30: 6). Those that had the circumcised heart were the true Israel of God and His chosen. However, God made a covenant with Israel and keeps His word. Only a remnant will be saved in the Great Tribulation. The rapture is real and the Blessed Hope is something we should never lose a love for, and I do love the return of Christ for His very own (John 14: 1-3). Although, some of what we were taught back than was wrong.
these are not exactly those who mock prophecy, there are those many among Christians who are simply to scared to accept the reality of the situation at hand. As a result mockery, which wont change the facts.
