Weather wallpapers takes me back to the old HTC days. Love it!
Exactly what I thought!
My gripe with this is that Samsung limits you to "local weather" which uses your GPS in the background. I wish I can just set it to a location like I can widgets.
1:22 Dimming the light can absolutely save battery energy while still retaining the benefits of the Always On Display.
Remember guys, pretty much all these features could be enabled on any other recent Samsung phone but Samsung learned from apple to gatekeep software features only to the last ultra phone.

The always-on dimmed wallpaper was there in the GalaxyS8, all the way back in 2017. Its not copied from Apple.

does the weather effects only work with one wallpaper? i have mulitple photos on but not seeing it work there
Does it save HDR data in the photo then to send to someone else or does it just change the phone settings to force it to show HDR. Also if someone else sends a HDR PHOTOS will they show in hdr on this phone or is it only galaxy devices as it says on the gallery settings thanks

10:23 TECHNICALLY if you used pro mode, you CAN get 4k60 on many devices (i use an s20+ and its possible) but you cant switch lenses in pro mode
Which also solves another problem: you werent able to use the normal video mode with wide angle at 4k60, weird but now you can!
And control lots of things about picture quality with Pro
You can hide the navigation bar with good lock and make the bar transparent

i still have an old a51 thats locked to oneui 5 apparently its 4 years old i have had it for 2 and a half but its just as new still all my older phones have had battery problems after a while but this one is basically new still

When android phone brings something new its either "stolen from apple" or "gimmicky" but never intersting. Untill apple comes with a slightly different version of the new android feature and its instantly the best feature ever. And when android re-releasss the feature its stolen from apple it makes no sense.

Don't do the screen protector folks it will stop the gorilla glasses ability to block light from bouncing off your screen. The screen protector will just make it bounce even more light back at you in the sunlight.
Samsung has a screenprotector with that anti-reflective property, I noticed it while preordering.

im not fine with not being able to hide the gesture bar. soon there will be ghost bar on the screen since its an amoled screen. why the fuck would samsung do that. there has to be another way to use circle to search without bothe the gesture buttons and the gesture bar. i expected better from samsung

Note 20 Ultra had 5 x optical zoom, switching lenses during video recording could have been supported long time back maybe not super smooth but thing is these companies don't want to support older device for their own profit.
