Yury is an amazing guest!!!! The passion is very entertaining
What a showcase of the new Abraxia model 😂
I think it's the only BR on CZcams with her at the moment too.
What a fantastic battle report! Really close game that could have gone either way in the end.
Great to see KO on the channel again, really showcasing their strengths and weaknesses here - Thanks!
Thanks for the shoutout, Yury! It was great to meet you!
These two armies are here for a good time, not a long time.
Yury is amazing with how passionate he is for his KO!
Just found this channel through a random short with a kid rolling 12s on a charge. Now i have a AOS battle channel.
Glad you've joined us! :D
Good Lord that escalated quite quickly!!!
Glad I found your channel, best AoS content in my opinion by far. Great camera work, great special effects, short without being too short, to the point, and you guys are such great teachers walking through your decisions between rounds. Fastest sub of my life, and I am very happy to have joined as a member.
That being said, I have one suggestion that I hope isn’t coming across pedantic. In the opening, the narrator says “one fact is becoming clear, the season of war has begun.” My suggestion is to change it to “one fact has become clear, the season of war has begun.” It sounds strange to say that a fact is becoming clear that the season of war has begun. If something has begun, it is no longer becoming clear, it has become clear. Plus it conveys that sense of the immediacy of the conflict; whereas saying it’s “becoming clear” implies that these battles are only just ramping up or the Season of War is still in its infancy.
If the intention is to convey not a sense of an ongoing series of conflicts but rather that these battles are only just starting then I apologize. I mean absolutely no disrespect by this suggestion and the current version in no way detracts from my enjoyment of your videos. Thank you guys for reading this comment, and I look forward to 4th edition content.
When the chaos terrain misfires, the damage comes from the faction terrain itself not the targeted terrain or objective.
Wild game! Very well played by both of you. Great to see KO on the channel! Also, great hat!
We will Yury! Glad to see him playing games that I can watch xD
Great bat rep as always :)
Wow!
That turn 2 was an insane rollercoaster, I thought the game was already over!
Great showcase for the 4+save of Abraxia 😂
that was a bummer seeing Abraxia getting killed on the first turn
Sad but true slaves to darkness need some buffs to make them better against many factions but gotta say I have had fair amount of luck 🍀 with mine , once again a great game and thank you for giving so much to the community me and my sons love your channel 👹👍💯
100% Abraxias 4+ save is a 4th ed mechanic that is leaking into 3rd edition. So far all the monster heroes released for 4th are a 4+ save with some variety of ward and her current scroll fits in that profile perfectly.
Did Yury put LEDs in to his KO? I'd love to see more on that!
Intense game. Holy crap
Crazy close game! Would have never thought after that opening salvo.
Not sure if it could have changed things but seemed you weren't using the additional lance attack range ability on the Knights a few times.
Thank you!
Yaaa Yury! My second favorite Georgian brother!
Lool... When r u coming to Toronto loco? 😘
Loved seeing KO out there. What an epic Bat Rep!
Nothing like watching your opponent roll dice in one phase.
Such a hat!
Anyone know where they get such georgous terrain?
Hello, im looking for those tree foliage, could someone please link me some good thing to use ?🙏
Why did he pick the company instead of the thunderers?
Those dwarves are insane.
Yuri rocks!
Just played a game against KO and got completely bodied. Friend was rolling super hot and i couldnt roll saves for the life of me. Also BoK doesnt do very well into shooting armies to begin with. Was still fun though. Thanks for the great batrep as always guys keep up the great work
Doesn't do well with a 5+ ward. That's weird.
@@markpandelidis2079 i play mainly mortals in my BoK army, and in that game i think i made like 3 5+ ward sv on my thirster and then rolled box cars on the recovery once and then healed 1 wd the next turn was not great time
@@armoredpanzer ah ya it happens
Ko are stupidly fucking op in 3rd, good news theyre hard nerfing them
I mean, that's a great show for Aabraxia... she's pretty terrible :/ Looks absolutly great tho! And great game :)
Did the chaos knights not have half move? In turn 2?😮
they did, but they can run & charge and rolled a 6!
I keep seeing nurgle knights but I feel korne is just better cus you always want them charging, and that extra attack for when they charge is great for a 10 man to whipe units from the board
Good game
KO doing what KO do lol love it
New Abraxia!

Dead in Round 1 before doing anything...
Pretty lame...
KO is oppressive even without all the combos, it's just too much shooting for a fun and casual game.
I have a near full shooting army of city's of sigmar, and they don't do as much as KO do
@@arronfaulkner54 "I have an almost full casting army of cities of sigmar, and still doesnt cast as well as lumineth" Damn you're so right man.
To people complaining about KO not being interactive, does getting attacked by 3 heavy hitting units that manage to deal 19+ wounds against a 2+ save, without being able to do anything seem more interactive?
Objectively yes, because you can reposition, move, and use abilities to avoid or save it where a full teleporting ranger army makes it impossible to protect against
@@jtowensbyiii6018 you can protect against KO with every method you mentioned.
@mrdaven7579 lmfao you don't play the game 🤣
@@jtowensbyiii6018 whatever you say guy
Not really worth advertising as an Abraxia BR guys
I mean, we did showcase what she does on the table... lol. But I get it, no one was more disappointed than me :')
@@SeasonofWar sorry for whinging! Great bat rep other than that! To be honest, it also demonstrates that she’s a little squishy lol
2 mistakes for the KO army. The boat counts as charged, the units inside don't, so Brook can't give the sweet +1 attack to the riggers. That's why you take the frigate. The second one, when the boat is destroyed, the units must be set 3" away from enemy units and wholly within 3" of the boat, any model that can't be set like this is slain.
Thanks for your comment... However, what you are saying is not correct.... 1. "Embarked units cannot move. However, when a TRANSPORT VESSEL finishes any type of move, all units embarked in it are considered to have made the same type of move." 2. Prudency Chutes Endrinworks allow units when the boat is destroyed to be set up within 3"
Stopped watching after Abraxia died. KO are not fun to play or play against or watch in batreps. I hope they fix them in 4th.
You missed out on a great battle my dude!
This happened when the 3e slaves book came out. The new army "showcase" was against a deepstriking shooting SCE list. Barely got to see S2D show off any new tech. Why advertise the new stuff in the video, if it's getting thrashed?
@@estoc5467 because we want to play honest games of what AoS is really like (which can be ugly sometimes). This was still an awesome game and a blast for us both - wild stuff happens in AoD which is why we love it. We're not gonna tailor matchups to showcase new stuff in the best situations, we keep it random and what happens happens, it's the honest outcome.
@@SeasonofWar this is truly the best reply here.
tho i feel like suggesting you a thing: when new models/rules come u might try making some balanced matchups that can make the new things shine. A KO vs S2D isn't that great of a match up because they play on two completely different styles (plus s2d are really weak against shooting)
@@BenedettoMattiaDibello in a vacuum, great idea - but we also a factor is who's playing, what armies they have or want to play, what hasn't been on the channel in a long time, etc. In this case, we haven't had KO on in a long time, and Yury is a great KO player with a beautiful army who happened to be coming for a game when we were ready to film with Abraxia. The alternative to filming this match is me playing something different because I wanted to prioritize KO since we have them in so sparsely. This would've meant we didn't have an Abraxia Batrep ready to go during the preorder window (which is the reason GW sends us preview stuff), so to me the obvious answer is to play the game as we did, and as I said stick to playing honestly with non-tailored matchups and random missions. We didn't plan for or want that outcome to happen, but based on priority and the board state, that was an obvious choice.
Some people also forget the massive amount of variations there could've been to this game and only focus on this one outcome. If I'd won priority to drop first, the game would've been vastly different. If I'd rolled either heroic leadership 4+ in round 1, I'd have had cp for All out Defence, and she'd have lived. This wasn't a foregone conclusion and inevitable outcome in the matchup, its just the events that we got in this permutation of the game - not something we really could have predicted.
We also always play multiple games with new things and try to get them on regularly, so there will be more chances for her to shine, but this was the honest outcome of what could happen in this situation, and we're not going to shy away from that. While it can be disappointing for those who were excited to see her in action (myself more than any others after a dozen hours of painting), we're not going to be dishonest or misleading to try to set up situations where we show her to be way better than she is if we only show the best case scenario.
The biggest problem with the new KO index is it means they are still in the game. What oppressive trash.
KO are great. Sorry they hurt you.
@@joebetz6317 they are insanely unfun to play against, when turn 1 half or more of your army is shot off the board and then you can't do anything to them it's painfull
There is a gap between saying that KO are not fun to play against at the moment and wishing they disappear from the game (and to call them trash on top of that). They have such a cool identity and great lore. I hope GW will balance them in the 4th edition by adding real melee power with less oppressive shooting (because otherwise, it kills an entire faction).
@Kimtanashino theyre getting a few hard nerfs luckily, shooting can NEVER be op or every other army looses into it
Varanguard are one of the squishiest units per point in the game 😂
God the nexus is so useless, they could've at least tried to make it slightly more helpful
I mean one of it's thing buffs casting he had no casters, also it'll be like a month and we have 4th changing the rules anyway
@@arronfaulkner54 its kind of just a +1 to cast, not bad ofc but so boring imo
@@biowiener7825in an army which can cast on 3d6 and usually just wants a 7 for spells
Boring and unnecesary
You aren't wrong. I only really picked up because 1. Getting terrain after initial release is almost impossible. 2. It's free for the army and might actually have good rules come 4th
@@arronfaulkner54no one is going to keep his wizard in the back of the field
