    Hello was wondering if you applied anything to your photos before the dimensional magic? My photos always get bubbles that are too small to pop

    • @Artjuniverse
      @Artjuniverse  Před 5 lety +3

      Hi. In this video, I did not apply anything prior to dimensional magic application, although looking back I should probably try applying a regular mod podge sealer 1st because I noticed the photo color fades or starts to change when the dimensional magic dries out. As far as the bubbles, the pin is the one i used as seen in the vid, and probably apply the magic cautiously, nice and slow. Might take some practice or trial and error.

      Hi. Thanks for asking, I would think glossy papers are fine.

      Hi. Thanks for asking, I just used a foam board you can get at a dollar store for a buck. ;)

    where did you buy your magnetic tape from? :)

    • @Artjuniverse
      @Artjuniverse  Před 4 lety +2

      Hi! You can get the magnetic tape from any stores that sell arts & crafts such as Michael's, Joann's, even Walmart or Target among others. The easiest way is thru Amazon like this one amzn.to/3jI5y0j Hope this helps.

    How long for it to dry? . The color goes fade a bit?

    • @Artjuniverse
      @Artjuniverse  Před 4 lety +2

      Try overnight to be on the safe side. Although I havent tried it, but perhaps brush it with the regular mod podge glue first to protect the colors from fading, then apply the dimentional one once dried.

      Hi. I used the Mod Podge "Dimensional Magic". Amazon link here: amzn.to/3TWJq3v
      You can try and check to see if your local office supply shops or crafting stores sell foam boards. I got mine at Dollar Tree. You can get here at Amazon too amzn.to/3DyfMfx
      Thanks for asking! Enjoy crafting!

    How well does the tape hold? Doesnt the magnet fall the moment you try to hold a paper in place with it?

    • @Artjuniverse
      @Artjuniverse  Před 3 lety +1

      So far I haven't had that experience. Adhesion is as good as the quality and strength of the magnet tape you used. I guess, make sure to clean the backside well free from dust before sticking the magnet tape.

    • @Robin-uj7fz
      @Robin-uj7fz Před 3 lety +1

      @@Artjuniverse I meant more in terms when you use the magent on a fridge or sth and say you have a list you want to stick to the fridge and you use this magnet to keep it in place. Does the magnet stay on the fridge?
      Also thank you for replying

    • @Artjuniverse
      @Artjuniverse  Před 3 lety +3

      Oh, I see what you mean. You are right, it can only hold as much, probably a 4x6 size single layer card, the most. The magnet tape isn't built to hold heavier items or large size papers. You might as well use and glue a stronger magnet into it, instead. Thanks for asking and clarifying. 👍😊

      Try walmart, michael's, other big name stores on art supplies aisles. 😉

    Did not work for me :( cutting that board was so hard, even with that blade... and the mod podge hasnt even dried it's been 12 hours :(

    • @Artjuniverse
      @Artjuniverse  Před 5 lety +1

      Sorry to hear that. I know. I find that the harder you press the blade in cutting, the messier the cut gets. Try handling the blade lightly and gently press to cut. Hope this works.

      Printed mine at a photo center (e.g. Costco, Walmart, Walgreens, etc.). You can also upload and order your photos online such as Shutterfly, and the abovementioned stores. Hope this helps.
