i love the fact that the colors of godot are the inverted colors of Diego Armando, symbolizing the fact that he has lost everything from his old life, his colleague, his friend, his profession as a defense lawyer, his sight, his 5 years, his colors
I can feel that pain, waking up after so many years, to the scent of coffee, you easily wake up, suddenly conscious about where you are, and what happened. You find out that your hair has now turned snow-white, you can't even see whoever was in front of you. In an instant you search for the woman you loved, finding out that she'd been long dead 2 years ago... You sit in a chair realizing that your life was over, you don't have anyone on your side, no love, no friends, you've even lost your original identity, you stand up, not with sadness but anger, a burning sense of revenge, you come to the conclusion that the woman you so desperately hated had now been sentenced to death, now restless that you couldn't kill her yourself, and then you find a man, an man that worked under your loved one, Mr. Pheonix Wright...you later find out that he'd seen her, her dead body... Now a jolt of rage flowing down your veins, that man was with her to the very last second to the point where she died, but continued to live on... You wonder how a human could even continue living, knowing that he killed a woman and you make the final decision. You change your name, the infamous Godot, your green shirt a symbol of your character, you decide to become a prosecutor, to destroy the man that had ruined your life, the man who destroyed her life, you study and study until you are now one of the most respected in the office. Though you hadn't even prosecuted a case before, and then you see it on the TV. The one moment that started this all, you tighten up your tie and and open up the case summary... and smile, "I came from the ghastly depths of hell... to beat you" - Diego Armando
This Sound now always plays at my Cafe's closing time. (23'o clock) washing the dishes cleaning the rooms saying goodbye to the last customer it all fits perfectly with this song.
Maybe I do not have coffee, but I have a cups of my tears every time I listen his theme. Who would have guessed that coffee maniac will make me cry so bad.
One hell of a remaster, you can never go wrong with the smoothness of Godot's theme. I'm Liking the rainfall/almost-vinyl-record-player-like-static in the background, where either of which fits the tone perfectly. I can seriously tell you really tried to provide a real update to the original, and you sure as hell succeeded, but, *imo*, there's a slight lack of, in a word, I guess "sharpness" in the tone that doesn't quite capture the charisma of Godot. I still absolutely love it, I love to see others' takes on AA themes, and I would especially absolutely love to see your rendition of either the original "Cornered" from AA, or "Pressing Pursuit" or especially "Telling the Truth" from AJ
First of all,ty very much for commenting. My biggest problem was that I don't own a sax to record so I had to use virtual instrument on that part maybe thats why it didn't get the tone you expect as from the original? I guess I did made the remake alot more wet and full as of alot more wider than the original but I am very happy to take it as constructive criticism. when I'll be done with my 2 projects that I have I will remake you some of your requests :).
The remaster is like a good brew itself. It isn't overly filled with too many things, just three instruments, a jazzy main line like the complexity of a rich cup, a deep hearty bass note like the dark bitter taste that's at the back of every gulp, and finally what sounds like a piano that adds a bright warmth like how a freshly made cup should be warm. All comes together for a simple but effective piece of music and flavour. Sometimes, less is more.
I really like this version. I might even prefer it to the original and it somehow makes me feel very nostalgic. Godot is one of the best characters, he deserves AA fandoms respect and admiration. Thank you for this amazing remaster
I was enjoying a mug of coffee while listening to this in the background. Just what I needed to set the mood. Edit: Do a jazz rendition of Grossberg's theme next. (Aging, Regret, Retribution)

Oooh that bass was pretty cool! I love how we can hear it without it overpowering the other instruments. This rendition sure sounds fuller than the original, that was interesting. I also liked the little white noise you added throughout the piece, adding to the ambiance. I guess you used a midi keyboard for the instruments? I feel like the use of them makes it lack a bit of sharpness and feels, especially on the piano and sax. That would be interesting to listen to it with a real sax to make it sound a bit sharper and breathier, and maybe play the piano a bit more legato. However, those are small details and there's only so much one can do without real instruments. Overall, you did a really good job and I appreciated this work a lot.
At the start of the game i thought this sounds pretty noir-like, describing Godot as a cool cold man. But after i finished the game, my feelings for this melody have changed. It sounds very sad and bitter.
dear god I just realized while listening to this Godot's visor prevents him from seeing red on a white background he has **Red(d) White** colorblindness
I don't have a real sax so I had to use virtual instrument which make sense why it sounds little off...if I ever make a "remix" of godot's theme I will use a better sax
dont get me wrong its nice without the inherent bitcrushing of the original but does it sound to anyone else like its playing at the end of a concrete room to anyone else?
