One of the best things I ate was the fried pancake in Hualien. They wrap it around a soft boiled egg and sprinkle it in spicy seasoning. Simple but insanely good.
I always start my stay in Ximending, Taipei. There is a little shop in the tourist area that sells pig small intestine and rice flour noodles, nothing else. Always a line, but worth the wait. I love pig butt noodles.
Taiwan's fruit is very good. Taiwan has these gigantic purple grapes that are just so sweet. I haven't been able to find them anywhere else. I miss Taiwan fruit.
Prozzie, my brother, I am in French culinary school right now and Chef Pascal taught us how to "half" braise chicken, (chicken braised in half the amount of braising liquid), and OMG! 🤯 My effing mind was blown today when tasted the white meat. It. Was. Juicy. 🤤💦🌊 I taught that chicken how to swim!
Oh man Taiwanese food is oily sweet and heart ❤️ attack city thrown in diabetes and high blood pressure too. High carbs foods. You’ve even stated the layers of fats lol 😂 anyways you only live once enjoy Prozzie da man!!!
I actually don’t love Taiwanese food and it’s part of the reason I ended up leaving, but I will say the one thing I loved was that minced pork over rice dish. It’s so simple, but whenever the kindergarten that I worked at served it I always had a giant helping of it and my TA would clown me for it 😂

烤雞好吃是因為用磚窯瓦窯加熱後放出遠紅外線把雞內外同時加熱!加上木頭的煙燻味道!
四川擔擔麵真的很好吃，有豐富的麻醬味還有辣油再加上一些白醋真的很棒！
