People that hate on De Ligt and compare him to Maguire are the same people getting their info from FIFA cards. Maguire isn’t a top level center back, he’s more than capable of being a bench option though. In fact, if he’s ok with it, I’d argue it’s his best option at this point. If he wants to play every match day, he’s gotta go to a bottom half of the league club, or find game time elsewhere in Europe.
De ligt is 86 rated while Maguire is 79 rated. If they do get their info from fifa cards, shouldn't they know Maguire isn't top level?

I think DeLigt has a lot to prove, theres a reason why Bayern didnt want to build the back 4 around him, why he wasnt a starter for Holland.
