I love how much effort and how deeply you broke down not only the album but also the band in terms of comparison to past works! The level of grading criteria utilized and the amount of time taken has not only been noticed but arguably greater is-at least from my perspective- the appreciation for the time having been taken to create a well constructed product. I’m very nearly finished with the video and I must confess I started my comment halfway through because I wanted to say in many words that this album not only was amazing, nor the great reception, but also your time and insight of this album of which I found to be worthy of immediate praise. I deeply hope the band sees this video. I’ll do what I can on my end at any rate 😅. Utterly fantastic editorial piece and well spoken.
P.S. For those wondering why I might not be giving the band more glowing and specific remarks I’d ask that you look to prior videos and community updates from Mr.Lion here as I’ve already spent many characters and hours bothering this gentleman and his viewership on my overflowing positive marks in regards to the album and the performing artists therein.
    With Great Love,
    Sain.

Thanks so much bro! I gotta admit your engagement is something i look forward to because you not only add value to this community, but your equally as insightful on stuff like this. Its pretty easy to talk shop with you because you are clearly intune with this genre and just music on general. So ita always a pleasure having you stop by to add your input, and just know that it is always welcome. (also we are both Army, so that automatically nets points haha). In all seriousness im glad this video wasn't a total failure because ive never wrote or produced something like this, so i was honestly just winging it lol

@@DrumlionMusic The bond runs strong it would seem….and the metal will live on. After finishing your video it just makes my desire to have a long form conversation with you grow deeper in roots well established through these things named music and service. I will also confess I have made several edits to my comment as I wanted to properly convey my compliments on your video and statements. I hope you are well my friend truly and be sure to stretch well after that last drum cover 😂.
P.S: I happened to randomly fancy reading under a tree today for the first time since the move and I must say it was one of the more relaxing and pleasant things I have done in some time. I read regularly but i find myself missing the otherworldly quiet of the deep Alaskan woods. Perfect backdrop for stories of adventure and magic in old places. Be sure to read this fall season everyone. Stories and songs are the artistic and historical roots of our humanity, cherish them well.

@@sainfalln that sounds therapeutic tbh.. And soulless existence seems like a track that is designed to capture the feelings of someone that feels they are without purpose in life. I think the whole album is centered around emotions and feelings that are hard to put into words for most people.

Awesome review! Love the album. Some songs were a little weaker, but still good. The pain remains trilogy is nuts though. Just saw them in Philly. Probably one of the most fun shows I've been to in years. Don't wanna spoil the setlist for anyone, but definitely stick around for the encore for a special surprise. Also I grew up in and am still in Nj, so I've known about them since they first started. So happy to see them successful

@@DrumlionMusic yeah the first time I saw them was at a little skating rink when they first started and the dumbass Jersey crowd was throwing stuff at them even though they were great even back then. @@DrumlionMusic yeah legit. So this was back like literally one of their first shows probably and the only reason I'm positive it was them was because well how many lorna shore's are there from nj. But yeah the Jersey scene then was good and bad. Lots of packed local shows and cool venues, but if they didn't like you you'd know 100%. It's gotten friendlier, but we also had tons of venues closed down for property damage and violence. Sucks. Now my band has been playing more in PA cause there's more venues and of course Philly has a lot just there

Hey, I am a bit late to this party, but better late than never. I have to say i was waiting for this video since you said you will do it. Nicely done. Is well put together. Loved the choice in words that you made to talk about the album and of course the most anticipated part was the personal impact of the album. Is really lovely to see people like you and other reactors going to great extents to bring this wonderful music to the non-metal heads. I loved heavy music since a young age, but as the time goes by i find myself liking it on the really heavy side and this is how i got to listen to Lorna. I find this kind of music relaxing and i often fall asleep listening to it. Maybe is just cause as time passes, facing more situations, as adults we need to be tame and be proper. This is how we get so many emotions bottled up inside. So the heavy music, the demonic voice sounds calms me down cause is an outlet for the frustration, anger, sadness, depression, negativity that builds inside during the day. Also I always loved heavy music cause despite the fact that it seems to just be a wall of noise, the message in most of the songs is often deep, meaningful and touching. What Lorna did with this album is pure poetry of raw human emotions. All of us can feel the emotion in the vocals and also in the instruments. All of the emotions. So the so called wall of sounds becomes fast a wall of emotions that hits hard and never misses. We can all relate to everything on this album at different levels and that is part of what makes the work of Lorna so good and so important.
There are tones of other things I wanted to say, but this comment is already so damn long. Thanks for a wonderful review, your insight is always welcomed.

You are so eloquent with your responses and outlook when it comes to people and the emotions invoked through music. The way you put this is absolutely beautiful, and im so glad you're a part of this community. You were able to put into words such a well thought out and insightful, as well as introspective foundation to the energy and passion of metal music. Even people against metal can find beauty in your words. Hell, probably even persuade them outright to give the genre a chance. Thank you so much for this comment. Just know that your thoughts, opinions, and whatever else you want to say is ALWAYS welcomed AND highly encouraged!

@@DrumlionMusic Thank you. I really like the warm and welcoming atmosphere here. I usually don't comment much, but here feels good to express myself. I did turn some non metal heads into metal heads, the most important of them being
my mom. I try to help people realize how much they discriminate against something they don't even try to give a chance. I am still looked at as some weirdo for my taste in music, but i never care what people think about me. As long as i love my music that is what matters and i am proud to be a metal head. I will always support metal music and all the people that try to bring down the misconception about it.
