His comments on every tank are basically "I really like this tank, it can be really good if played correctly, but it can be really awful if not played correctly."
I would agree, same thing happened with PUBG on PC, new playerbase is just not interested in playing because the pros in the game are dooking on them all the time, and its just killing the player experience, and Meadsy did just that, gave some bad advice, maybe on purpouse, maybe not, but yeah, I guess he is trolling...

Why even recommend any Tier 10 tank for new players? Instead recommend tech tree lines with easy grind and consistent play style. Grind several lines up to T8 and learn the basics before going to T10.
Definitely! The ST Emil taught me about gun depression,the RHM taught me all about concealment and bushes, and the Tiger 2 taught me how to angle and brawl.

Here's one thing I wish both Meadsy and Droodles noted. The WZ-121 is one of a few tanks that has fear factor. When people know a WZ-121 is around the corner, they're unwilling to risk getting clapped due to the fact that it hits hard.
I can agree with this, too. The WZ-121 is quite scary, being the hardest hitting medium we have at 420. And then you remember this thing got Tungsten Rounds this update.
Just like all street stop signs, they are sometimes ignored,How I am terrible at remembering names of tanks that are pure letters and numbers, I never remember that tank and I always end up in a brawl against them with my T-62 and several times I am surprised at the damage.
37:28 I do think that the Kranvagn is one of the best tanks to learn how to play hull down, mainly because of how the hatches work. In all of the other hull down tanks, you have hatches that can be penned, with the Kranvagn, you can actively hide them. The turret is extremely hard to pen, and it is easy to know when you've made mistake, due to how weak the hull is. The only thing that lowers the tank a bit is the fact that 90% of the time you get pened frontaly, the driver gets killed.

Bro... STB-1 at 34th is insane... if you had the commitment and dedication even as a new player to grind up the Japanese medium tank line you will have the skill to have epic matches in such a formidable tank.
i believe that slow, well armored heavy tanks are best for noobs. It makes them have less chances to make mistakes because the tank is slower. And even if they do make one, the armor may save them. So the e100 or the 60tp is best for noobs.
tbh Meadsy's content quality has been kinda degraded lately, most of his videos are just super wacky laggy op replays with his intro and outtro slapped into (which I personally hate because he adjusts its volume like 15307% louder than the whole replay part of the video and it literally blasts my eardrums every single time). I'd rather watch Bushka or Droodles simply because more fun and more human interaction than some lifeless replay.

I agree completely! The Patton is the very first tier x line that I chose to grind, it’s made me a fairly competent player. I have over 3k battles now with a 58% WR, and overall average damage of about 1.8k.

I think a new list video needs to be made here. We can get a comparison on two people’s opinions and then choose who we agree with more. Also maybe have more information to be able to better make our own conclusions as well.
when i was a new player and wanted to grind a line all i cared about was the look of the tank i didnt care about its stats thats why my first t10 was the vk german super heavy
This is a case of mistaken feelings for logical and analytical thinking, which both are not Meadsy's strength. It also shows in all his works: sounds reasonable at first but when explained further so often made me reversing my conclusion. In addition his style of wording and back and forth repeating himself had lost me as an audience for years. It is not all that surprising to me.
I stopped watching Meadsy69 a long time ago. His voice is terrible and on top of that his explaining indicates that he doesn't know much about the game. I am out of word for how he could make this tier list and think yeah it's okay. It is litteraly in a category of missinformation xD
Hey Droodles, I totally agree with you that the STB-1 is a good tank for newer players to perform in decently, yet I want to point out that the STB-1 is the second lowest performing medium tank right next to the Leopard 1 in the player statistics that you are arguing with. I don't know why that's the case. Maybe there is a Problem using the player statistics for 0 - 45% players that have more than 5000 games. I just want to mention that, while statistics are a good thing to get an idea of how good a tank would be in the hands of a newer player, they are not a perfect and undeniable argument.
I was once playing Maus and I legit got jumpscared when I aimed at obj. 140's turret and saw everything is a pen. I though someone has to be fooling me. I exacly knew the look of pennable spots on obj. It caught me off guard when I saw everything gray. Tank got butched so much armor vise. STB-1 is somehow harder to ppay then this? XD
I actually cant play this game anymore. since 10.3 I am on 350ping and up. im AUS, playing on a 9yo NA account. Never had this issue, I play many other games on steam (about 24k hours in 400 games in the last 10 years), some being online with friends in NA and still have no issue with ping, maybe getting 150 in other games.
E100 is by farr the best first line tank to grind. Tiger II is noob friendly and E75 starts teaching you everything you need before playing E100 other then anglind the turret. I am lost for words. A rank 1 tank for newbies rabked as one of the worst for new tanks. Tank has it everything for new players who are getting into heavies. Type 71 is rank 2. Line is strong and tank is the idiot proof. IS-7 is rank 3 because the line is not a new player friendly. IS-3 and IS-8 require a lot of skill to even be competitive.

Meadsy said one thing that really urked me. I'm at work and now I'm taking the time to write this comment because it has urked me enough. Why does he sound like he's saying that no one would learn anything between the tier 1 tank all the way up to tier 10? I would hope if you got a tier 10 without spending any money, you've learned a couple things like side-scraping. I was about 2k battles before learning about side-scraping. I then decided that researching tanks was just as important as playing them. Why does he think a newcomer wouldn't learn to side scrape in an e100 or a May's for that matter? Hell. Even a jagd e100 can side scrape!
God knows i tried to watch meadsy videos like a month ago, but he is just so inconsistent and get too many basic things wrong, like the other days he just got wrong how all shells work, and the rewievs he make are lackluster, i really want other opinions aside from Drood's but meadsy needs ro step up hes game.

His reasoning is hilarious 😂. If you make it to the tXs you will have an understanding of angling, autoloader mechanics, gun depression, and positioning. There will be no new players at tier ten 😂. Of course it takes everyone a couple of games to get use to the new tank but going from the standard b to the progetto 65 is almost underwhelming with how similar they function.
I gotta agree with Droodles, ranking the TVP, STB-1 and Patton at the bottom of the list and below the Cs-63, obj 140 and every light tanks except the batchat is total nonsense. Also I think the Maus and E100 should be at the top of the list since they got decent armor and very high HP wich make them super forgiving when u make a mistake. .
I think it does not matter anymore! New players get to tier X fast and too easy! high tiers are overflowing with noobs that dont even know the map or the tanks they use! And making videos to help them will not work! They want a quick few games mostly for fun if they lose they lose! Playing as a team or even using the map does not even enter the noobs heads!

Also my final comment is no matter how good the tank is the player is the key for doing better not the tank.
If you put a super unicum in to a trash tank he can carry an entire team and a nub with lack of sense and knowledge put into the most/totally op tank he will do nothing.
I just wanna say that i suck at angles but i preform well in the e100 if you just wiggle a little it becomes way harder to pen

I think a new list video needs to be made here. We can get a comparison on two people’s opinions and then choose who we agree with more. Also maybe have more information to be able to better make our own conclusions as well.
when i was a new player and wanted to grind a line all i cared about was the look of the tank i didnt care about its stats thats why my first t10 was the vk german super heavy

This is a case of mistaken feelings for logical and analytical thinking, which both are not Meadsy's strength. It also shows in all his works: sounds reasonable at first but when explained further so often made me reversing my conclusion. In addition his style of wording and back and forth repeating himself had lost me as an audience for years. It is not all that surprising to me.

Hey Droodles, I totally agree with you that the STB-1 is a good tank for newer players to perform in decently, yet I want to point out that the STB-1 is the second lowest performing medium tank right next to the Leopard 1 in the player statistics that you are arguing with. I don't know why that's the case. Maybe there is a Problem using the player statistics for 0 - 45% players that have more than 5000 games. I just want to mention that, while statistics are a good thing to get an idea of how good a tank would be in the hands of a newer player, they are not a perfect and undeniable argument.
I was once playing Maus and I legit got jumpscared when I aimed at obj. 140's turret and saw everything is a pen. I though someone has to be fooling me. I exacly knew the look of pennable spots on obj. It caught me off guard when I saw everything gray. Tank got butched so much armor vise. STB-1 is somehow harder to ppay then this? XD

1:03:11 T57 Heavy still has 2.7k DPM with calibrated- so still more than VZ.55. its the 2 Shot Yoh (which I LOVE) That has 2.5k, 2495 to be exact.
I think all tanks will be bad for 45% win rate players so making list of the best tanks for them is useless

I actually cant play this game anymore. since 10.3 I am on 350ping and up. im AUS, playing on a 9yo NA account. Never had this issue, I play many other games on steam (about 24k hours in 400 games in the last 10 years), some being online with friends in NA and still have no issue with ping, maybe getting 150 in other games.

E100 is by farr the best first line tank to grind. Tiger II is noob friendly and E75 starts teaching you everything you need before playing E100 other then anglind the turret. I am lost for words. A rank 1 tank for newbies rabked as one of the worst for new tanks. Tank has it everything for new players who are getting into heavies. Type 71 is rank 2. Line is strong and tank is the idiot proof. IS-7 is rank 3 because the line is not a new player friendly. IS-3 and IS-8 require a lot of skill to even be competitive.

Meadsy said one thing that really urked me. I'm at work and now I'm taking the time to write this comment because it has urked me enough. Why does he sound like he's saying that no one would learn anything between the tier 1 tank all the way up to tier 10? I would hope if you got a tier 10 without spending any money, you've learned a couple things like side-scraping. I was about 2k battles before learning about side-scraping. I then decided that researching tanks was just as important as playing them. Why does he think a newcomer wouldn't learn to side scrape in an e100 or a May's for that matter? Hell. Even a jagd e100 can side scrape!

His reasoning is hilarious 😂. If you make it to the tXs you will have an understanding of angling, autoloader mechanics, gun depression, and positioning. There will be no new players at tier ten 😂. Of course it takes everyone a couple of games to get use to the new tank but going from the standard b to the progetto 65 is almost underwhelming with how similar they function.

I gotta agree with Droodles, ranking the TVP, STB-1 and Patton at the bottom of the list and below the Cs-63, obj 140 and every light tanks except the batchat is total nonsense. Also I think the Maus and E100 should be at the top of the list since they got decent armor and very high HP wich make them super forgiving when u make a mistake. .

I think it does not matter anymore! New players get to tier X fast and too easy! high tiers are overflowing with noobs that dont even know the map or the tanks they use! And making videos to help them will not work! They want a quick few games mostly for fun if they lose they lose! Playing as a team or even using the map does not even enter the noobs heads!
