Ironically the Rockies have spent millions on figuring out how to deal with just the sort of thing they were reporting on. Their report turned out to be pretty legitimate.

The thing is, they were actually right! Colorado's thin air has been pretty much proven to make it easier to hit homeruns. They should have gotten an "A". (Except for their less than perfect geographic knowledge) :)
While that may be true, it has no bearing upon the report topic. The reason balls go further is because of how thin the air is due to elevation. Pollution has no bearing upon it.
No, they weren’t. Thinner air makes the ball travel further, but the smog and pollution isn’t to blame. Also, suggesting they would win every home is ridiculous because it implies only the Phillies would benefit from the better air quality. They might score more runs, but their opponents would too.

And that impact is nullified by the fact that both teams in a game would have the same advantages that thin air would afford. Rockies routinely give up more home runs than they hit and that has to do with bad pitching over anything. Environmental things like the air only affect cumulative stats over a full season, since Rockies players spend more games in Coors Field. However, in terms of game outcome in doesn’t change anything
The air and weather conditions are very different in Colorado however it’s a truly beautiful state. I’m a New Yorker I highly recommend visiting Colorado if you can. Aspen, Estes Park, Boulder etc such an amazing place
@@skyhart615 people make their own essays all the time. Especially in English class, when you're given an assignment to pick out you're own topic! So i'd say it could be done, just with different teams being used or by comparing something else. It' could be called "How the Environmental Welfare affects us all". Then you'd talk about a state and what their environment is like and what could make it better if it changed. Then list the varies differences in the climate and how that would affect the peoples daily lives. AND BAMM!!!, you got something type about. Easily done. Also, if you want to make it longer choose two states and compare the environments and what it would be like if it changed for the better. Can easily give you 8 or more pages.
Well it would depend on whether or not what they're saying about air pollution affecting baseball teams was actually true. Honestly I don't think it is so they certainly wouldn't get an A. Perhaps a C or D since they still did research and gave an oral presentation but facts weren't accurate.
After a year they no longer speak of sports on the show. For how obsessed Cory was with MLB baseball stats and players and other sports, I cant fathom he would just lose interest 100% in 7th grade. I was following and talking sports in 6th grade as I was in 12th grade with my friends.
I wish I had a teacher named mr. feeny to replace ms. Cencerios but I have to who it is who is taking ms. C’s spot for this year I will have someone nice.

Thin air isn't the same as clean air, particles are still emitted even in less dense air- it's really less dense than it is thin.
