That Doom was so stupid. You and the Mercy were healing him when he died, he had anti-heal and didn't wanna take the fault. That Rein and Bap on the last game were also very frustrating. I wonder if these guys actually have anything better to do with their lives.
I played with that Doom as well… He complained about me and said that he gets zero heal from me (I had over 10.000 heal points and the match wasnt over yet). But he just always jumped right into the enemie team and i couldnt heal that of course. But he always said it was my fault and I am so bad… He had almost none damage and my team said he should switch but of course he didnt! After that round I was so done with this hole team but next round it was again him but on the other team 😭🫥
I’m not sure what rank they’re playing but think of it as the dunning kruger point, these people think they’re the next dominant OWL player and it’s never their fault. It’s just a projection of their own shortcomings, and well since it’s online they’ll face no real consequences for lashing out at people.
Your Sombra playing was great! You got kills BEFORE you team dove in. I've played with sombras that wait until 3-5 teammates are dead before killing ONE person they were standing next to for five damn minutes. Your teammates are just not able to pay attention to outside of their little bubble.
Yeah there wasn't much wrong with the gameplay (that I noticed anyway) it is just really hard for Sombre to get consistent value in this meta. Not excusing the toxicity though there are far better things to get pissed about.
ppl will legit just look at damage and decide who to tilt it. you can have 5x more elims than ur dps partner but if they just spam the tank the entire time and get damage nobody cares
As a Sombra main - that's what it do be like. Either you're Fitzy or they assume you're throwing, even if you're low-key carrying by keeping most of the enemy team occupied and off the main team fight.
It is genuinely hard to tell whenever Sombra is doing half the time. Cuz she's always elsewhere doing something, but its not like shit like s76 which is constant damage numbers etc.

this video has taught me that life as a Sombra player is a nightmare in any rank thanks to that scoreboard and scoreboard warriors. Thank you for the video, some people really need to see what actually goes on from a Sombra POV.

They'd probably complain about a widow for not having 20k damage while she's going 30 and 3. Like, if the character is getting more value then anyone else, then they probably aren't the one who needs to think about switching. Edit: You went 19 and 0 and they're still seething. What is wrong with these people? Do they not have brains? Edit2: after looking through the video a little more. I think the Rein was definitely feeding a little by pushing too far, but the Kiriko also had to have been making some big positioning mistakes based on the scoreboard numbers. Maybe I'm being led astray by the stats and making the wrong assumptions about what was really happening. Either way, these people need to stress a little less about losing. Try to win, but don't throw a fit because of a loss or over things going wrong. Things can be frustrating, but you don't have to make people miserable because you're upset. Control yourself, you're not a toddler. (I hope someone from that game learns this)

@@25Cyan. You shouldn't use it as a "mobility" tool to engage, since it will 9/10 times leave you stranded from your own team in the backlines. Rein is really easy to melt down when he doesn't have full team support, so by isolating yourself like that you're just giving your life away. Rein's charge is more of a "playmaker" ability that you use in the middle of a fight once you've closed the distance and can ensure that you'll still be in range of your team after it's dnoe. You use it when you can secure a kill in the mid to short range, or when you're trying to escape and fall back really quickly, etc. Never use it to engage or start a fight. At best you'll trade your life for a support's, but without the tank, your team will have no way to capitalize on that and they'll probably just die.
100% accurate. My last game was exactly like this. We won that game but our tank was toxic anyway, the guy was on a mission to ruin people's day. We all block and report him but damn, last week is definitely the worst.
The toxicity in overwatch is so bad right now,. There are people being this toxic and complaining even in QUICKPLAY, as if their entire life depended on it. I think one reason why it feels much more toxic than ow1 is that it's free to play now and people from other unnamed free fps shooters want to try it now as well. The shift towards toxicity is huge tho compared to the last months of ow1 when people who still cared about the game played
I'm pretty early and wanted to watch especially because I waited until the last week to get top 500 back since I didn't play for like a month and the games felt just as awful as usual, but many of the losses I would still get crazy stats as Mercy and it was frustrating lol. I feel S3 was the worst season by far to me.

Same, matchmaking been totally awful since the midseason. Lots of players whining, whining, and whining. more whining into the end of the season. I think we deserve it since we played Blizzard game that have number two slapped on it. Man i miss cultured players of OW1
@faizrahman6308 I hated it right from the beginning of season 3 especially because mercy got those huge changes to. This was the only season of OW2 I ever went more than a week without playing lol. I did have a game today where somebody threw because somebody wouldn't get off zen which was really triggering. I also had a few games where I have about double the healing of everybody in the lobby and just can't win lol. I think a huge thing that is bothering me is that in many of these bad matches I am like the only GM in my team and I think it feels bad playing Mercy with lower rank ppl or something, like it is very difficult to force the win if my team isn't doing well and I didn't feel that way often in S1 or S2. I'm just going to try and be positive and play hard again tomorrow since there isn't much time left lol.

I haven't played solo queue comp since before Ramattra released because of things like this. I try not to let people like them get to me, but if we happen to lose, it definitely gets me down since more is on the line. I gotta say, it's definitely harder for me to not feel a little guilty cuz of my lack of skill. Kudos to you for just turning the other way and playing your best regardless of what they said

if there is one thing that ow taught me over 6 years of playing it, is that you never, never and i mean NEVER play comp on the last week (or 10 days) you are going to get flamed or loose a lot

Sombra is the most thankless DPS. you can nope several ults, secure medkits for your team (and starve it from the enemy) disrupt tanks and snipers and hound support all game but it will always be the sombra's fault for a loss.
Honestly, for me at least, last saturday and sunday where probably some of the best days of my season. There was barely a time where a team was actually rolling each other or being toxic, only like 15%, but that might be just because I live in South Am where no one has mics and it was easter time. Regarding the sombra stuff, I don't usually look at damage dealt, since it's just a very confusing way of telling you what's really going on, and just seeing at the end the fact you've almost hacked as many enemies as you killed/assisted says much more than any stat would
EDIT: just noticed 0 deaths. Insane you should not have gotten a single bit of critism from that team I am shocked you had more elims on sombra than the entire enemy team and they are still flaming you. You are a way better person than me as I would have been livid at them flaming me at the end of the first round and second.

I'm pretty early and wanted to watch especially because I waited until the last week to get top 500 back since I didn't play for like a month and the games felt just as awful as usual, but many of the losses I would still get crazy stats as Mercy and it was frustrating lol. I feel S3 was the worst season by far to me.

Same, matchmaking been totally awful since the midseason. Lots of players whining, whining, and whining. more whining into the end of the season.
I think we deserve it since we played Blizzard game that have number two slapped on it.

@faizrahman6308 I hated it right from the beginning of season 3 especially because mercy got those huge changes to. This was the only season of OW2 I ever went more than a week without playing lol. I did have a game today where somebody threw because somebody wouldn't get off zen which was really triggering. I also had a few games where I have about double the healing of everybody in the lobby and just can't win lol. I think a huge thing that is bothering me is that in many of these bad matches I am like the only GM in my team and I think it feels bad playing Mercy with lower rank ppl or something, like it is very difficult to force the win if my team isn't doing well and I didn't feel that way often in S1 or S2. I'm just going to try and be positive and play hard again tomorrow since there isn't much time left lol.

one time sombra does the job (hacking enemies + healthpacks, calling out enemy position, finishing off lonely targets) and people still complain
It’s always when you start doing better than your team they start to get mad for no reason…happened to me a couple days ago
this creator is the reason im happier now playing the game because being respectful is better than anything else even tho sometimes they take it too far and i have to step out

I am sorry that you had matches like this! I only started playing comp this season around the same time as you and have genuinely had some of the most pleasant games I've played in a long time.
i’ve played comp since season 10 and man is it wild, it seems most of the time to be okay but there are some very bad matches lol.

ive been playing hundreds of games in diamond-gm and have never had players this toxic lol. everyone is always chill and wholesome and i rarely see ppl complaining
As a sombra main I felt this deeply. You can legit be doing EVERYTHING right and people will be like “no sombra plz” it’s actually crazy how many people want to be straight up carried to climb instead of working for it themselves.

Dude your sombra is GODLY. A good Sombra is scary! Especially your aim. As for the doom bit, God I hate it. The amount of times I play Mercy and they think I can't heal them through purple is dramatically high ;-;

I haven't played solo queue comp since before Ramattra released because of things like this. I try not to let people like them get to me, but if we happen to lose, it definitely gets me down since more is on the line. I gotta say, it's definitely harder for me to not feel a little guilty cuz of my lack of skill. Kudos to you for just turning the other way and playing your best regardless of what they said
I would say "don't queue up at all" if people are so frustrated at the end of a season, at the beginning of a season, and mid season also there is like "just habit of being toxic, we gonna change that soon"
Your patience with that rein bap game was insane. Imagine being flamed by your entire team while doing the best on their team. I definitely would've muted especially when they got overly upset over not being able to touch...something that probably wouldn't have even saved the game!

I've been playing with so many toxic people, its been so bad. I start off saying "gl hf", and somehow people end of cursing each other out, throwing the game. It's been really sad.

if there is one thing that ow taught me over 6 years of playing it, is that you never, never and i mean NEVER play comp on the last week (or 10 days) you are going to get flamed or loose a lot

@@ArianaOW lost my last 3 comp games in a row and got flamed a lot for just playing doomfist, not only i was carrying but my dps were beyond trash and somehow they flamed me just for picking doom, always the last days are the most wild in ow comp
Sombra is the most thankless DPS. you can nope several ults, secure medkits for your team (and starve it from the enemy) disrupt tanks and snipers and hound support all game but it will always be the sombra's fault for a loss.
Honestly, for me at least, last saturday and sunday where probably some of the best days of my season. There was barely a time where a team was actually rolling each other or being toxic, only like 15%, but that might be just because I live in South Am where no one has mics and it was easter time. Regarding the sombra stuff, I don't usually look at damage dealt, since it's just a very confusing way of telling you what's really going on, and just seeing at the end the fact you've almost hacked as many enemies as you killed/assisted says much more than any stat would
Stopped being in voice chat since OW2 launch, and the game has been significantly more peaceful since then. Ping system is a godsend.

I am shocked you had more elims on sombra than the entire enemy team and they are still flaming you. You are a way better person than me as I would have been livid at them flaming me at the end of the first round and second.
I played the last couple of days and dropped from diamond to gold. It was a sad sight lost so many games cuz of toxicity. We need more positive and upbeat people in games
