ouch, what kind of battery technology is on the JVC battery for this? could make your own Li-ion cells i'm sure. but not sure what the charge controller inside is meant for.
I bought one at a sale for €150 and I thought it would follow the legacy of the KABOOM era. I couldn't have been more wrong. It's full of plastic and immediately you see it feels very cheap. Quality left aside the main thing is sound, which was awful. The sound is very muddy and the full range drivers can't cope with the subs. All treble is almost lost. But, even the bass is not going more than 150Hz I guess. Totally disappointed.
@@audioman6007 Sharp GX-BT9X.. still can buy these.. and they are miles better than JVC's new crap.. this Sharp is the newer version of the GX-M10.. and that bad boy had impressive bass as seen in my video..

I just got one. Its more base than anything and the equalizer is pre-set to 4 or 5 settings. Would prefer if could change the settings manually.

14.8v lithium ion, I bought mine for 60€ each, so not that expensive.

Today's JVC boomboxes are crap. I listened to it in a supermarket, the sound was weak, the build quality was also poor. And these lights ...👎

Yeah JVC not as good as there old stuff my first hifi was the giga tube hifi that was nice for the sound
