I'm a big fan of the Greatest SAXON here and for years they constantly confirm that they are the best Heavy metal group for the following reasons 1) They have released the first NWOBHM Album in 1979 2) They have the longest discography of all and even without having released a mediocre album all their albums are from good to great!!! 3) In general, seeing SAXON live is a life experience that you should not miss. I have personally seen them 22 times and I would like to see them again another 1000!!!! 4) It is a band with a huge influence on other groups such as Metallica, Megadeth, slayer, Iced earth, motley crue, metal church and many other groups!!! 5) SAXON until hell freezes over!!!!!
