I agree on your second point only, drinking smoking weed and wearing tight pants is their "culture" which is for removed from real rock and the answer, it's like asking an up and coming white artiste to study Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra.

@@instaspy509 it's past not pass, now why on earth would a 20/21 year old have any interest in hardcore/vintage riddims, personally I think they have reduced the music to rubbish but I am not silly enough not to understand evolution like it or not.
There is a reason why Sizzla, Beenie, Bounty, Buju, Capleton cannot retire and are still being asked to do Live streams and shows to represent Jamaica. There is a problem when 50 year old dancehall artists are in more demand than young artists. Big problem

I met Father Trooper in Gatwick airport 1999 or early 2000 and I had to hail him and tell him I saw him on the BBC tv... He was humble and showed a little boy respect. Respect Ricky Trooper 👊🏽

Ricky Trooper touched on some very important topics 💯 The government (PNP/JLP) does not respect the music. No reggae museum, no reggae hall of fame, no honor for the legends that paved the way smh… the government should definitely be held accountable. All they do is tear down the music.
