The narration, the various camera angles, the attention to details - all are done very well. I especially like the opening with the hobbit-lad fishing at dusk; it evokes that Tolkien-immersive feeling, or so it does to me at least. Very well done indeed! A great video. But one detail I should like to note, is about hobbits several times sending archers to aid the King. If I recall aright, Tolkien writes this in a way that presents it as happening once, and not as a recurring event. It is also worth noting, that the records of Men did not have this information (that hobbits ever sent archers to Fornost), as if it never occurred. Also, on a somewhat related note, there is another LotRO video made some time ago, which I think you too and others (especially hobbit-lovers at heart) will enjoy. The ring Bilbo carried showed signs of something else, something deeper something darker, it showed signs of one of the great rings of Power, rather than the one ring, because no one not even Gandalf would have known that, A simple line but a very important one.
That was awesome! It was really interesting and a really non complicated way to learn the history of Hobbits! Great narration, brilliant use of scenes from game play cut into the story. I cant wait to see the next ones!

Yeah that effect can be quite annoying when it is actually video and is one of the things we really try to avoid. In a fan trailer I did several years ago I had a really bad version of that effect where I am zooming into video and the shot looks like a still image even though it was filmed. Kind of weird how that works sometimes.
Wonderful! I so enjoyed this! I adore the lore. I love how you used the game to portray Hobbit life. The players must have had some fun reinacting this. I regret not appreciating the Shire more in the beginning.

Very nice video! Inventive to use Total War for the battle/winter scenes too! You might be interested in knowing that some of us hobbits on Laurelin have been working on a hobbit lore-themed video for a while as well. It won't be done in a fair while, though, we're still scripting and scouting locations. Grand to see it is possible to pull something like this off, though!

The only thing I would criticize is the lack of information regarding Saruman and his interest in the shire. His activities there began long before the Scowering of the shire, and mirrored that of Gandalf's with a more malicious tinge. Seems like he just popped up there at the end haha. However I'm guessing you may pay special attention to this when you cover Isengard, since it could easily fit there as well :)
