I’m gathering parts for my 8.6 BLK build, but I’m unable to locate anything in stock for the following items: a Aero Precision M5 Enhanced 12.7 Handguard or a muzzle device that is threaded in 5/8 X 24. I have a Ballistic Advantage 12” 8.6 DRP 1/3 Twist Pistol Length Premium Series Barrel! Any recommendations?
Not trying to change your mind, but I am wrapping up a JL Billet 12" 8.6 build. Their stuff is NICE. Can I ask what powder funnel you use on your Dillon for 8.6?

Hello, I really need your help, my husband is trying to buy a 3D printer to make a frame for a 1911 .45 and we have no clue what we are doing, what 3D printer to buy, what filament, how to input the settings, what program to use, if there is a file we can download for it with the presets etc. if you could I’d like to chat privately if you can help thank you ! 🙏🏻
Have you looked a company by SLR rifle works they have AR10 builders kit that look amazing for 8.6 BLk for pistol and you can choose what cerakote they have a lot of options
I think Ill have to get an sbr in the works. I typically do 80%s but I may have to ffl and sbr on this one. The break with the QD is the dead air keymo
If that's an Aero Precision M5 upper, then get an Aero Precision M5 handguard. The best builds have the least amount of critical parts from different manufacturers. Keep it simple.
👍 🇺🇲 I want to lean towards a longer barrel. It may be the solution to problems that haven't been created yet. Or... It could just be my experiences with 5.56 being unfairly projected onto the 8.6 BLK and the reliablity of the AR-10 platform.
I went with the SLR 308H ION 7.1" Lite. It fits just right. Same upper receiver and barrel. I'm using an Area 419 Sidewinder universal mount with a Rex Silentium Mod X 338 suppressor. If you want more pictures or any details just let me know. I'm happy to help. i.imgur.com/DyEVUCb.jpg

Maybe 6" because your can will likely set back a bit once it's installed. Moreso if you use a quick disconnect.

ya not a crush washer. faxon sent a taper washer i think they wanted used on suppressors.

I have shorty 9mm ar's but nothing like this in a real rifle cartrige. I think 10" is my shortest 556.
I don't know enough yet about the 8.6 BLK. This should be fun...

i like that stock! I will have to do pistol. as my lower isnt sbr yet.
