アニメ進撃の巨人の数少ない欠点は、この神曲があまりに早い時期に出来てしまったこと。完結編後編のEDでも良かった。

この漫画を何も知らない状態から最初からみたいと思えるほどに、凄いいい作品だと思う

One other beautiful detail in this ending is how Eren never once looks back, and keeps walking forward until the very end. However, when his goal is seemingly achieved he looks back and then fades away. The symbolism in the ending is incredible.

自分の中で勝手に進撃の巨人の本当のフィナーレEDだと思ってる。
これだけ壮大に、パーソナルに、切なくエレンの信念と心象を表現した曲はない。
映像も本当に素晴らしくて、、ラストにエレンがふっと消えてしまうところは泣きじゃくりたくなる。ヒグチさんの原作愛、理解が凄い。

Why do I feel this video is a serenade of eren to mikasa and to freedom 😭
Eren and Mikasa's love story was actually presented through the songs. The anime was action-packed that they did not show much romance between them but with the beautiful music and songs played in the anime we can see and feel all the love that they had for each other. Especially Eren. He always seemed so dense when it comes to his feelings towards Mikasa except the final chapter when he told Armin everything. So I feel like he genuinely loves her but he only failed to show his love for her. Pretty understandable because they lived in a messed up world. So Eren's confession about his love for Mikasa was not out of character at all. Throughout the anime, he always defended Mikasa and at the very end he sacrificed his life for her. I really love AOT/SNK from the beginning until the end. Thank you so much to all the people who worked hard for this masterpiece. Amazing!!!!

シーズン3の王宮、地下室のあるシガンシナ区が出てくるのこれまでに色々あったこと思い出して感慨深くなるな
ここ数ヶ月で進撃の巨人を見始めてた新規です。この間アニメを最後まで観ました。もともと進撃見る前からこの曲はなんとなく知ってはいましたが、アニメ全て見終わってから再度この曲を聴くとめっちゃ泣けます…😭もっと早く進撃の巨人と出会っていたかったです。
The way the lyrics symbolize Eren's beliefs... the way the visuals capture his view of Paradis... the scarf and the bird... everything is just perfect.
The constant drumbeat tells me that this is a marching tune... this is what Eren saw when he kissed Historia's hand. This is Erens marching music.

As a manga reader, im just crying so hard at this. It's beautiful, it's bitter sweet, but it's really the end.

今までの集大成感やばいな、小学生の頃毎週月曜日になるの待ってちみちみ見てたアニメがこんな感じで結末を迎えるって、MVの中にあった街に草木が生えてきてる感じもアニメの中だけじゃなくて現実でも時間が経ってる感じがして泣けてくる。10年かけて伏線全部回収できる作者さんも凄いしこんなに綺麗な作画で進撃の巨人をリアルタイムで見れたことが最高だわ

最後エレンが風と共に消えていく姿が美しいけど切なすぎて辛い
現代の戦争の辛さと作中のエレンの辛さを見事に表現してる曲だ。
今までで1番感動するEDでした。
進撃の巨人を長く愛してきて良かったなと思える映像、曲でした。
最終回にこれが流れることを想像するとそれだけで涙が出ます…
アニメ、漫画、どちらでも違う楽しみ方ができるのって本当に幸せです！
its been 24 hours but this ED still breaks me. Eren's character of wanting to have freedom and live a long life with everyone is very tragic as the moment he was born, his life was already fated to end in an early age without experiencing the freedom he fought for all his 19 years of life.

Eren's scarf turned into flying bird which symbolizes freedom. So basically Mikasa's thanking eren at the end for wrapping his scarf to her means she was thanking eren for giving her freedom.
27日にあった進撃の巨人LIVEフェスで悪魔の子といってらっしゃいを聴いたのですがMVもあった事によりエレンとミカサの気持ちがより鮮明に伝えられてきてボロ泣きでした。他のアーティストの方々が歌っていた時は私の周りは泣いてる方は私以外いなかったのですがヒグチアイさんが登場し、歌った時はやはり皆泣いてました。それぐらいには2人の心情がこもっている歌詞です。

0:50で一気に景色が色付く演出は鳥肌の一言、美しい自然と荒廃した建物を夕暮れの光が照らしていて見事に「この世界は残酷だ、そしてとても美しい」を表現してる
歌詞とエレンを見るだけで泣けるし、同時に本当に終わってしまうんだというノスタルジックな気分になれる最高のED
幼少期のエレンは外の世界に夢を抱いていたけど、グリシャの記憶で外の世界を知り絶望してそれを考えると余計に泣ける。
この景色はもしかしたら海の向こうに敵がいなかったときのあの景色だったのかもしれないですね。
Literally could not create a more fitting ED to capture Eren as a character by the end. The way the visuals and lyrics touched on what is going on inside his mind nearly brought me to tears, so perfectly done.

The intro and outro give us Eren in full. It’s sooooo dam amazing dude lol. I actually love the genre for the opening
Exactly! And “Don’t cry about the destiny we were born with. Cause we are all free.” Perfectly encapsulates the point - just like when Carla said “he’s already special because he was born into this world”. You don’t need to escape the birdcage, because freedom is within. And Eren in this ending realizes how beautiful it is in the birdcage with the flowers and all.

最後のエレンが消えてしまう所にあぁ……ってなってしまった
「その目を閉じて触れてみれば同じ形同じ体温の悪魔」「そこに壁があっただけなのに」が進撃すぎて言葉が出ない程辛いしサビからの「世界は残酷だ それでも君を愛すよ 何を犠牲にしてもそれでも君を守るよ」の歌詞もエレンすぎてただただ辛い。これ最終回で流れたらめちゃくちゃに泣いて1週間は虚無っちゃう自信ある
しかもこうした歌詞がライナーやアニやベルトルトといった「敵側」のマーレにも言えるのも...
正直この曲はエレンのキャラソンに使った方がいいレベルのクオリティ

@@Jeeson-69 パラディ島は別人種の存在を知ったのが4年前くらいで、差別思想自体が薄いのかも。ただマーレ人捕虜の扱いとか、イェーガー派の言動とか見ると差別観念自体は持ってると思う。100年前まではずっとエルディア側がマーレを差別してきたわけだし、時代や国が変わろうと人間持つ差別思想は変わらないんだろうなぁと。

ここから廃墟のようになった街が出てくるの本当に好き。
みんなもう大人になった(19歳だけど)世界の物語なのに、エンディングが幼いエレン。
しかもサビで、ほとんど見なくなった笑顔。そして「それでも君を愛すよ」「それでも君を守るよ」というエレンの隠れた思い。
これで充分泣けるのに、自分が1番泣けたのは天井が抜けて壊れた式典場(呼び方がわからん)のところ。あんなに人が集まってたのにボロボロに壊れているところから、
もうあの時間は過ぎてしまった。
もうあの頃には戻れない。
という感じに見えてしまって涙腺崩壊した。

ほんと毎度良いエンディング曲を作る人を見つけてくるねぇ。
最終話は最後の一区切りをこの曲で一旦終わらしといて
その後のほんとの最終までをカップリングのまっさらな大地という曲を流して欲しい。

@@oyen7899 Imo, it seems more to me that that scene-where eren holds the knife-is symbolizing eren taking on a bigger world as his past makes a huge impact on him. The lyrics, well, they revolve all around the people he loves, however, as you said, a bit more towards mikasa. This ed is basically the answers to mikasa’s questions in the ed from season 1. Which imo, going back and forth through the lyrics, the answers don’t seem to be strictly for mikasa, especially the “you.” This is my opinion though, I just see this ed this way rather than strictly eren’s words for mikasa like most people do.

もう少し出し惜しみしてもよい。これ以上のエンディングは作るのが難しい。絵の出来だけじゃなく解釈とかも素晴らしいからなかなか超えれない。
