I like your way to do it. The other way usually do it in the front of the shirt then the gathering will become a pleat and make the front looks bulky. That’s not flattering.
Hello Judi. I am so sorry. This video was last 7 months . At that time I had no confidence to speak English on my video. My English is very much better now. I could speak English on my channel. Please view my new videos. Thank you very much for your feedback.
I am not convinced this is the best way to alter a top. You didn't show how low it looked on you and you didn't show how much higher it was when you finished. Just pointing to areas of the blouse and not explaining what you're doing is not teaching. I have found the best way to cover the front of a blouse is use a dickey or some type of panel across it which can look very decorative depending on how it is designed.
I am sorry this video I made it when I started to do CZcams with no experience. I did as pined on my customers. I have a video such as your idea recently. My videos are from my everyday alterations job. Thank you very much for your feedback.
Some people (like myself) prefer to wear a plain, functional shirt, not an art project. This video shows us how to make a shirt fit better without turning it into something that looks like a patchwork quilt. I appreciate that this alterations professional was willing to take the time to make this video, because ever since I lost weight, all of my shirts sag in front, and I thought I was going to have to buy a whole new wardrobe! I'm "sew" glad I found this video!
