Sunday treatment =) Enjoy guys, much love and stay tuned because in the next hours/few days there will be fireworks of new car releases. Check your feed and activate the notification bell not to miss anything :) /Thomas
Also wenn Geld keine Rolle spielen würde, dann wären das meine Autos dann aber wohl eher das Cabrio. Das Cabrio hätte ich mal gerne für einen Roadtrip durch Kalifornien.
Those new Bentleys GT Speed are really gorgeous! The convertible would be my pick. But even knowing those are not track day cars, I would love if Bentley could make a lightweight version of the GT Speed. I drive a new 911 and a SLC 43 AMG and I think it wouldn’t be possible a good spirited drive or a controlled track day in such a heavy car like the Bentley!
Totally agree with you, Thomas, about switches in a car, touch screens are nothing but a dangerous distraction. If it is illegal to use a mobile phone how can a touch screen be any different. I have seen videos where ( in electric cars especially) it has taken 5 or 6 seconds to scroll the menu just to switch something on.
How often is there a car where you don't know whether to stare at it from the outside or inside? Should be legislation for all interiors to be like that 😃
Another excellent review Thomas - and I'm listening to my NAIM home hi-fi as I type this… but can I suggest that you listen to some better music than your dance tunes to really appreciate the quality of the music system in the Bentley (and other high-end cars)?! Keep producing great content, your channel is always worth watching.
Interesting comment, but I dont agree. There are good and bad recordings across all genres of music. For example, Daft Punks Random Access Memories is a beautifully produced 'dance' album with a fantastic bass to really test a system. Its perfectly valid to test a system with any music genre, but what is also important is to use a track you are really familiar with. Preferably from a source using a decent codec in a lossless format. You can then start to appreciate which systems bring out the nuances that others miss. Anyway, this is a car review but it is always interesting to get a sound check on the ICE systems, particulaly this originally English manufacturer (although now part of the french brand, Focal). Great review as always, thanks Thomas. :)
Send this video to Mercedes, Audi and BMW and the rest of the OEM’s- that’s how luxury interiors are done, kudos to papa Bentley. No need for Hyper screens and capacitive dreck everywhere. Function, beauty and luxury-BRAVO. Particularly the grey convertible color combos are amazing…
Such a classy and muscular car. Probably the best GT out there right now in terms of balance between comfort and performance. It is, after all, the Continental GT.
Apparently the way those "fake exhaust" tips are designed is much like that of a turbofan jet engine, only instead of adding power and efficiency, the airflow around the main exhaust helps keep soot and hard particulates from building up on the exhaust pipe as well as the tips, meaning they will stay cleaner without needing extra cleaning and theoretically will not degrade as quickly.
Beautiful cars especially the grey convertible. Interior finish is a big step up from German machinery though the tech is less. The rotating dash and analogue clock are fantastic. Spec with a W12 before they vanish. Thomas: Your Mission, should you accept, is to review every Bentley vehicle in Italy 😀
Standard exhaust is better, Bentley is a kin to that gentleman from the Kingsman, wears a Savile row suit whilst able to kick arse without breaking a sweat 😎
Franco Ferrarotti said, years ago: “The only speed limit in Italy is the speed of your own car. You can have all kinds of laws in Italy, provided they are not enforced and it’s not difficult to rule the Italians, it is just unnecessary…”
@@autogefuehl After paying €300,000, for me I would not wash it through the machine I would use a water hose and car soap and water. Can’t really do that in Germany because of the weather but in Spain I’m sure you can. I do that in the United States because I like to wash my own carI don’t like scratches on my paint. Thank you for the great review I love this car which I will be getting next month. I probably will not get the convertible, as you can see it’s not that stable on a little bumpy road. Great car though
Jesus christ when will car brands start doing well designed infotainment system. Look at Tesla, everything is responsive and well done, and then you check 300k cars and they have the same laggy screen as a Škoda for 15k. What a joke such potential wasted.
Unfortunately yes. Saw that and Bentayga a few weeks ago live. Q7, A6/8, Phaeton and Touareg. To be honest you feel Passat and Skoda Superb DNA too. Not cool... 🤔😐
Fake exhaust tip police...... I'm with you on this topic Thomas along with my fav peeve #hapticBS switches. However, fake exhaust. I'd read somewhere of recent, this has been an insurance company push. Sort of made sense as it would reduce claims if minor rear end shunts didn't include exhaust pipe repair for the traditional 'all the way' exhaust pipe/s. There you go, how true - don't know but I can see the logic.....🤔🤷
Seriously ??? MAYBE 1 out of every 10,000 sold will ever see a race track or even take a corner hard. Reviewers need to be more realistic in their reviews. Try a normal drive for owners of these type of cars. Take it through a city street, parallel park it, be realistic.
For me there is, especially live when you see the car live or sit in it, definitely too much A6/8 Phaeton DNA. It feels kind of "try to make that forgotten with too much chrom and leather". For me the main opponent AMG is much more attractive. Rolls is definitely one class above...

Kudos to Bentley for installing REAL BUTTONS. They created a good touch screen/real button balance. As you say, that's the way it should be...

Another review? That’s amazing! Made my weekend!
What a hard life you lead Thomas, having to drive Bentley’s for a living 😂👍
Always the most thorough reviews. 👍🏻🇬🇧
Most welcome 😎
7:41 this logo we love this, just felling wonderful.
Love your videos !! I hope your reach a million subs
Welcome! Maybe with ur recommendation ☺️

Hi, two CZcams videos in the same weekend
Autogefühl is very cool.
More coming!

👏 the turned aluminium dash on the convertible.....should be government legislation for all interiors this way

Great presentation of the new Bentleys.
Thanks my friend! Best greetings and probably u ll set some of these around 😄

10:40 Thomas hit then nail to the head there again.
OMG im in love! What a beautiful car! If i won the lottery i would buy this car in a second, the grey convertible for sure!!!!!

Nice. Another Bentley on the channel. My second favourite brand.
Nice video. Can you tell us the actual color for the gray one. Thank you.
Yes, speed limits are mostly a side-note here in Italy. An unpleasant road signal
Price ?
Hey Thomas, great review from this absolute beautiful Bentley. Can you tell me the title of the music you listen in the Bentley? Thanks a lot.

hehe =)
What a car !!
convertible is my dream car
Love love
Coupe is more beautiful. Agree with you Thomas: buttons, switches, toggle wheel. Just the business not touch screens...
Coupe better than a convertible? You are having a laugh!
@@1970sman nope. Sell me your opinion.
Tomas, where kann man wash this car? Handwash only? Oder automat?
Depends on what the car wash is using

Do you do voiceover work? You have a distinguished accent you can profit from
Funny how the Panamera its based on is infinitely faster while being a limousine.
I'd take the W12 Coupe! If I hit the Lottery one of the cars I'd buy for my stable... ;-D
But where is the new V8S?

thats not fake to me. fake is the SQ5.
I guess I'm in the minority but this car doesn't move the needle for me.
I feel nothing.

That’s why the racetrack part wasnt the major focus
Non convertibles are just ordinary modes of transport.
Good good!!)) Aston Vanquish S better!!!)))
It is so sad that beautiful Bentleys now at the ocean in a burning 🔥 ship 🛳 Going to sink in the ocean 🌊😢😰

This is based on the new panamera not the pheaton anymore
VW clone
Stop being such an old man, no buttons is fine.
Fine, just not as good for everything.
