  • Hey! I am so thankful to HSLDA for helping me start this school year as a private tutor. I was hoping that I would not need their help, but I am glad that I was prepared. What homeschool option are you using in your state? As always I hope you enjoy this video. Make sure to LIKE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE! It means so much to me! 🤗 Autumn

It’s such a blessing being a teacher who is able to educate your little one!!! I have a couple of friends that are doing this as teachers for their children. One lives in GA. I live in NC and it seems super organized here with a large homeschooling population. My aunt homeschooled my cousins from around 6th grade (with community college classes in high school) to college and they got into Duke as well as professional schools. Back then they had to do some state testing to stay on track. I educate my toddler at home but she will do half day twice a week for a Montessori program. I have a feeling that I will take a hybrid approach to learning.

Yes!! It truly is a blessing. I have not yet found my homeschool community where I live (I hope I do soon!!), but I am getting to know so many wonderful people through CZcams and Instagram. That's so nice that you have found a trusted program for her and still have that time with her. I hope that she loves it!!

Thanks for the video. I'm homeschooling my son this year for preK-4 in New Jersey. I officially signed him out of the school system last week (he went to public school preK 3 last school year). In NJ, from what I remember, we don't have to contact the school district until the child enters 1st grade. My husband and I are only planning to homeschool this year, but who knows what God has planned 🤷🏾‍♀️. Thanks again 😊 and I have a HSLDA (?) membership too, used it at Target for a discount

That's so nice that you're taking it one year at a time. And it's nice that you can also wait until he's 6, if you wanted to. Yeah. I originally had the HSLDA membership for the Target and Thriftbooks discount years ago and then didn't have it last year. I decided to pay for the membership this year and I'm so glad that I did!

Arizona only request you teach core subjects but that’s it. It’s a very easy state to homeschool in.

I've heard fantastic things about homeschooling in AZ! PA has come a loooong way, but there is still plenty more that can be improved.
