  • Acrisure Stadium is home to the Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL) and Pittsburgh Panthers (NCAA), featuring a seating capacity of 68,400. Located in the North Shore neighborhood of Pittsburgh (PA), the stadium was originally named Heinz Field when it opened in 2001. Heinz Field was built at a cost of $281 million to replace the iconic Three Rivers Stadium which was home to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates (MLB) from 1970 to 2000.
The Steelers were originally scheduled to play the first regular season game at Heinz Field against the Cleveland Browns on September 16, 2001. However, that game was postponed due to the September 11th attacks. As a result, the stadium's first regular season NFL game was on October 7th as the Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 16-7.
Acrisure acquired the naming rights to the stadium in 2022. This video was captured at the start of the 2022 season with a Mavic Air 2 drone.
