Na. This way you get the best of both world's. He can play what he likes. I like his solo and Beady Eye Albums better than any Oasis work.
Noel must love it. He just sits back and his brother goes out there, sings his songs and pays him to do it.
Noel is a competitive guy. Liam’s career for the last few years has become much more prominent than Noel’s and, to the surprise of many, Liam is getting love from music critics too.
Noel is happy to be making money, sure, but I would bet a part of him is jealous.
Noel wont be get any money for the songs being performed live. He would only receive money if they were re-recorded.
@@thedrunkengamer88 Noel gets a 'PRS cheque' whenever his songs are sung live, so he does get paid when Liam performs, but it's not out of Liam's pocket.

Liam had such a golden voice when he was young, he really should have sang every Oasis song.
Though I love Liam's distinctive voice, and his guts to do this, still it's Noel who sounds right for this song.

@@strangedaysindeed9 love it! I remember at the peak of the tour like march-June 2023 you wouldn’t stop putting videos out and it would always be through your videos that I saw it was the first time they were playing something. Like for example mardy bum or certain romance after however long.
@@mrfarenheit26 There was a lot of urgency behind those uploads, haha! Always debuts, "first time in ages", something exclusive... Lots of hours editing in hotel rooms and uploading gigabytes on airports lol. But after that wears off, it all goes in the backlog... Let's see how far I can get with the LG uploads.

@@danielfriday5403Couldn’t disagree more. Liam’s voice and attitude was the primary reason for Oasis’s success. They would have just been another generic 90’s indie band without Liam. The fact that he’s selling out arenas and his solo career is doing way better than Noel’s is proof of that. You might not like it but that’s just your personal taste, not an objective fact.

WOW , I never thought Liam would ever do this song.
You know what, it doesnt sound half bad , his voice is actually better , it's not Oasis mid 90s better though , I think he must have had lessons since he went solo as his voice is a lot more controlled, he has lost the grunt of the rocknroll 90s , but it now means he can sing this to a really good standard , it's a hard song to sing as noel sings it in a high key , but Liam did well there.
Everyone knows it from The Royle Family and even none oasis fans knows noel sings this so I wasn't sure if Liam doing it might feel a bit wrong somehow , but he really did that with feeling.
Very good , interestingly being a huge noel fan , I actually prefer Liams solo career , some of his stuff have been belters , the John Squire stuff is exceptionally tuneful and I might be the only person to go on record and say that Beady Eyes first album stands up against a couple of oasis albums , I absolutely love beady eyes first album.
Noel did quip he would get Oasis back together , but as holograms, he had been to see ABBA 😂

Nah there's no Auto-Tune during his shows. He's just playing the game with his monitor man, which started even during the Oasis years, since he's a bit deaf. Also, it wasn't within a year, he sang much better from the Beady Eye era on. And obviously got vocal technique lessons when he started performing solo. It’s on and off during his current tours, but his technique has been bettered tremendously. No more cutting off words, as example.

This cover really shows what a weak singer he is compared to his brother, and shows 90% of Oasis was Noel.
No one ever thought Liam was an amazing vocalist, his appeal was having a rock quality in his tone and just being a frontman. Noel was always the more integral part of Oasis' music but Liam is doing Oasis' legacy more justice than Noel is and pleasing lifelong fans.
