- My new snap on epic 84 inch toolbox Upgrade I traded in my master series KRL1023. Take a look with me on a couple Differences comparing the two boxes. Now my only challenge personally is figuring out where I want to put everything in this new box with a different drawer configuration and less drawers but more room because it’s bigger. Both are sharp looking. Chrome or black I wouldn't want to choose. Color is high on my list of favorites..

That’s a beautiful box ! I have the KRL 1023 in black. I’m not crazy about the little drawers. Less drawers, yet larger is more appealing.

Thanks Mike! I like it.. I started swapping tools over today. it’s definitely being a challenge figuring out where I want to put things. I also did change the drawers on the left put the thinnest on top to deeper on bottom. I’ll post on IG tomorrow

Nice box but dont understand going $10-$15k in debt for nicer wheels and handles. Old box was super nice.
Old box was great but it had a problem with the drawer sagging which I probably could’ve put up with because I feel like I lost space even though this box is bigger because it has less drawers. I can’t talk about the deal but I did not pay that much to upgrade.

I have the same KRL box I've been trying to decide if I want to go to an epic box but unless I get one of the monster boxes it seems like a sideways move more than a upgrade...
Right if you upgrade make sure you talk to the rep about drawers I found out afterwards that I might have been able to get an epic with more drawers like I had in my master series.. customize it

I thought about getting an all drawer side box but I already have a locker on each side but I have seen one put between the box and locker before but you can only add so much crap right lol
Also thought about saying screw it and getting that 9k icon box setup lol thing is huge and 9k I've spent so much freaking money on tools over the years and the tools I don't mind spending the money on but the boxes and lockers and that stuff is getting much harder for me to justify lol
@@ttamn92 that’s true they are cheaper and you could probably buy two for the price of 1 Snap On box but they don’t have a lifetime time warranty either

I got the epic 60 for home now I kinda wish I got the 68" I recently ordered a hutch for it but I like it i was Originally going to get the epic tool cart and I think thats why I decided on the 60 and not the 68 I got mine in Royal blue and I like it some years back I had the 1023 Matte black with Titanium trim lol

I like my Epiq but its so tall its not very ergonomic to work on the top of it
Very true It is tall and I’m short so if something is all the way in the back (on top) or cleaning it’s a stretch LOL
Nice! Im waiting on a 2 bank 84 epic, electric orange, black trim, blackout with the workstation and a right side locker. Old box is a 54 inch master series. How long did it take to get once you ordered?
That’s awesome and I think it was a month before I got it maybe less but I think my my dealer told me they tell people 4-6 week
2 years later are you happy?? I Have an opportunity to upgrade from 72 masters to 84 epiq..
Yes but I wish I would have know I could configure the drawers the way I want. I would have had more drawers like the old one.

The old one was awesome. I wish I still had all the drawers. On mine the one of the middle drawers was (sagging)If you open 2 at the same time it would hit the drawer under it. Still worked ok other than that but I upgraded to a bigger box anyway.

havent seen too many draw in master series. do you have part number of that master box
It’s an old one they don’t make anymore but the complete part number is KRL1023DPM1 thanks for watching

@Tai Tran Me too I wish they made the epic in a 22 drawer.. I heard if I would have know then I might’ve been able to order it custom with more drawers..I was told I could probably still change it now but it would cost more to buy more drawers and slides to do that. You can change it up except the top three long top drawers
