Nigerians are the MOST confident Africans I've ever met. They will be in a room full of white people and they will lead a meeting with their accent with so much poise & confidence. They will not trade their names or accents for anyone, they love themselves! Davido can easily use an American accent but nah he wants us to know he is a Naija man!

Interviews like this are one of the many reasons I love Trevor. He brings the culture to the table in subtle ways I probably wouldn't notice if I hadn't married into an African family and had to learn the culture the HARD way. lol This is some masterful empathy and cultural awareness that both build rapport and create a GREAT experience for everybody including the audience. Trevor does it with ALL his guests, not just Africans. The African-ness made me notice it, but it's always there. :-) REALLY amazing.
