Man you would be way more comfortable fishing with Carp tackle ie: Rod Pod/Bite Alarms...you would never go back to that caveman style....but I can only suggest it I cannot make ya try it. Great video btw you always get on the fish...keep it up I enjoy them soo much :)
Cat Man- What length and weight BeefStick would be good for throwing 2 to 5 ounce lead in a big lake; maybe some slack current river fishing? I do a lot of fishing in Virginia for channel cats and blues. I also love setting turtle lines here for nice snappers. I reall enjoy your videos! I have learned a ton about catfishing and just large freshwater fishing. I generally flycast poppers for monster bluegill. Best wishes from the Blue Ridge Mountains! Va. Cork

Agreed. The lead sinkers are so cheap and easy to make with a formal. My uncle [r.i.p.] used to make buckets 🪣 of 3 oz sinkers.. we used them for east coast tataug[blackfish] fishing

Is it OK to eat the red stripe. Just like the drum or gasper goo it has a red stripe and I was told to not eat it but I think it is safe? Is it safe or taste bad or what?

Highly underrated are the saltwater catfish. I caught several of these while down in Louisiana.

Mark have you tried in spots where there are a lot of rocks or snags using dragging weights. Easy to make if you can't buy them.
