      I was just thinking the other day if I'm really saving lol ( how much is purity and those cerealac boxes for a month roughly? But I honestly enjoy making the food

      @@raisingrainbow it’s actually not that bad because I think just for cereal for the month it’s about R200 but also it’s just healthier to do the meals yourself

    Home prepared baby food, I love it because it is not only save money but its good because you know and 100 sure on what you are giving the baby.
    Unlike buying already prepared food.
    Thanks for sharing sis

    Did the glass containers not break in the freezer mom? 🌻🍃

    • @raisingrainbow
      @raisingrainbow  Před 2 lety

      They didn't but they are sooooo hard to open even when not frozen

    Momma, when is Baby Rainbow heading to crèche? Do you have stay in nanny or what kind of help do you help? I’m at stay at home mom and my son’s paed advised us not to take him to crèche until he’s around 3. My son is sooooo busy at almost 10 months, I feel like in addition to all the stimulation I give him daily (walking, reading, gross and fine motor activities) as well as weekly swimming, he’s going to get bored soon because he’s such an active little somebody 🌻🍃

      So I have a stay in nanny ( she goes home every weekend though) so far it's the best option because I'm working from home so I can keep an eye on things ( I'll do a whole video on that journey shuu it was a lot) .
      Yes they get sick quite often at creche so that's why I advisable that if they can stay home as long as possible. I feel so bad that I'm not doing enough to help her with her development ( please tell me more about swimming)

      @@raisingrainbow I also had a stay in nanny for a month and wow, worst decision of my life. It was a movie for a month. I paid her two month’s salary and asked her to kindly leave at the end of her first month because she was too wild for my little family.
      Initially, we started swimming at the spa and having massages to help baby along with colic and teething. He was a super fussy baby. He cried a lot and never slept much. Swimming and water was the one thing that always kept him calm and happy so we stuck to it. His paed said there’s little to no evidence that shows that babies that swim are actually smarter, less fussy or whatever else the spa claims. However, since I’m a stay at home mom and baby and I have little interaction daily, I enjoy taking him to swimming as both our social time and to break our routine a bit. 🌻🍃

      @@raisingrainbow we do not watch tv in our home so I never know whether it’s a bad thing because I understand that most mommies say that their babies like coco melon and learn from it. Is it true? Do you feel like Baby Rainbow benefits from TV and stuff? How do you generally try to balance her development? I know being a working mom is crazy tough. Hats off to you!! 🌻🍃

    How long does all the food you make last momma? I also make babas food weekly. It’s one of my favorite things about motherhood 🥰🌻🍃

    • @raisingrainbow
      @raisingrainbow  Před 2 lety

      It used to last about 2-3 weeks now its a week but I've increased the quantities so I'd say a week and half

    Haibo, what time does she sleep lol. My son has so much energy at night and that time I’m super exhausted by 20:00 😅🌻🍃

    • @raisingrainbow
      @raisingrainbow  Před 2 lety

      She only sleeps when I sleeping and that's usually around 12 am I know that's bad but I feel like there's just not enough hours in a day

      @@raisingrainbow but when she does sleep, does she sleep very well or does she wake up a lot to feed? 🌻🍃

      @@raisingrainbow I agree with you on there not being enough hours in a day. I wake up early to try balance that out. I think maybe that’s why by 20:00 I’m super tired 🌻🍃
