Many days back I heard news that Pakistan Railways is planning to be modernized , in which it will also close down many stations , my concern is that if they are going to close small stations , they should in no way cut down old trees , mostly Barr بڑھ are on the platforms, which are very very old maybe 100’s of years , and beautify the the stations .
So some how all the bloggers should tell Railway’s that they should avoid cutting those trees , unless very necessary !

I traveled this route in 2006 once on an official visit. I was recommended to go via train because the roads were not safe towards Narowal (dacoits erc). There was rush. People were bundles in like a sack full of rice. The train stopped at every freaking station. The train started late and took approx 3 hours for such a short distance. Things seem to be same now as well after 12 years.

Excellent vlog Fahim Bhai. You are right, it's the worst railway track of PR. I don't know why they are not upgrading the track. PR is in a huge crisis. I can only wish, pray and hope that may PR prosper. Anyways wonderful scenes and awesome chugging sound. Indeed this track is the closest track adjacent to Pak-India Border. Narowal is not an active junction now because of the track from jassar is closed. I can only imagine the pre-partition period when trains went from Narowal to Jassar and then to India's Punjab. Thankyou for making this beautiful vlog.
